EMMITT SMITH, CCIM

With over a decade of real estate experience, Smith leads a team of talented individualswho oversee the core real estate businesses — E Smith Legacy, a real estate investmentand development company; E Smith Realty Partners brokerage and advisory services, EJSmith Construction and E Smith Capital Partners. Emmitt began his career under RogerStaubach at the Staubach Company as well as with Cypress Equities of Dallas. In 2010,Emmitt was awarded the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation.A respected entrepreneur, sought-after speaker and bestselling author — these are just afew of the ways to describe Emmitt Smith. He is married to Pat and has five children.

GREG W. SEITZ

Greg is Senior Managing Director of E Smith Capital Partners. He hasover twenty seven years of experience in commercial real estate. His background hasfocused on the capitalization of all types of income producing property. Duringthis tenure, Mr. Seitz has evaluated countless developers and operators of incomeproducing Real Estate while marrying those up with debt and equity capital sourcesthroughout the country. This experience provides both an excellent background forevaluating and recommending new business but also an outstanding networkof contacts. He was responsible for assembling both debt and equity for over 1.4 billiondollars in income producing property. This volume, as well as his leadership role atHolliday Fenoglio Fowler, the top financial intermediary in the country, has provided himwith the background for structuring and evaluating opportunities. Utilizing anational network of contacts in virtually every major market in the country, Gregleverages these contacts and relationships to procure capital for investmentopportunities. Greg is an alum of the University of Texas in Austin. He has two sons incollege.

MARC RANKIN, CCIM

Marc is Managing Director of E Smith Capital Partners. He has 10 years of executive leveland real estate experience. In 2009, after spending several years as an executive for aprivate commercial real estate financing and investment firm, he launched what wouldbecome one of the nation's largest private financing companies specializing in real estateproperty tax financing. With the help of a partnership with McCombs Partners and PropelFinancial in San Antonio, Marc and his team arranged financing for over $600 million inreal estate assets. In 2010, Marc launched Market Maker Realty and Investments asmanaging principal and broker. While leading an elite team of seasoned real estateveterans, Market Maker gained assignments in representing both real estate sellerslooking to sell their assets and developers and investment groups needing Market Makerto source equity, mezzanine and debt capital for their real estate projects. Marc hasexperience in developing key partnerships with institutions, family investment offices,and other capital partners. In 2010, Marc was awarded the highly coveted CertifiedCommercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation. Marc received his degree from theUniversity of Texas at Austin and is involved with several local charities. He serves as aboard member for CCIM Chapter for Central Texas. He is married to Deanna and has twochildren.

SHARON MORRISON, SIOR

As CEO, Sharon Morrison provides strategic direction, leadership and production for ESmith Realty Partners. She has represented owners and users of commercial space overthe past 22 years. In 2010, the Dallas Business Journal named Sharon on the "Top 25Women to Watch" and "Heavy Hitters" list. She has worked on deals including 500,000 SFof industrial space with UPS, a 743,600 SF lease with Bon Ton, a 369,000 SF corporateheadquarter for GameStop, and many more. Morrison earned a Bachelor of BusinessAdministration degree in political science and Spanish from The University of Texas inAustin and is involved in numerous organizations including volunteer youth coaching forbasketball and volleyball. After graduation, Sharon worked in Houston beforelanding a job at The Staubach Company where she was brought on to help start theIndustrial division. She worked there for 14 years until the company was acquired by JLL.Sharon transitioned to Transwestern where she was actively responsible for growing theindustrial platform. Sharon's hard work and entrepreneurial spirit awarded her theTranswestern Presidents award in 2010. Morrison joined the E Smith Realty Partnersteam in 2013. She is married to Kevin and has three daughters.

BRANT LANDRY, CCIM

As President and COO of E Smith Realty Partners, Landry’s responsibilities includemanaging day-to-day operations, business development, assisting in national expansion,quality control, and protecting and enriching the company’s culture. Brant has negotiatedmore than 280 industrial and office leases or sales and purchase agreements. Some ofthe most important transactions and top clients include ownership services for CobaltCapital Partners representing approximately 500,000 SF in leasing agreements, La FamiliaDistributing-160,000 SF Distribution Center, and Celerity, Inc-175,000 SF facility in Dallas.Brant was presented the highly coveted Certified Commercial Investment Member

(CCIM) designation reserved for commercial real estate professionals who demonstrateexpertise in investment and market analytics and who qualify a portfolio of work. In 2012Brant was awarded the CoStar Power Broker award, presented to those who closed thehighest transaction volume in commercial property sales and leases in their respectivemarket. . Brant graduated from Texas Tech University with a Bachelors of BusinessAdministration in Real Estate Finance. He is married to Jennifer and has two sons.

TAMELA THORNTON, CCIM

As Principle and EVP of Alternative Investments of E Smith Legacy, Ms. Thornton isresponsible for identifying and structuring vertical relationships to support the firm’sdevelopment and investment activities. She also leads the retail development projectteam. Ms. Thornton has over 30 years of experience including site selection, marketfeasibility, store location planning, corporate rollouts, lease negotiation and constructionproject management. Her unique experience has evolved from a variety of assignmentswith corporate entities, private developers and public agencies. Tamela brings a deepunderstanding of a variety of real estate development challenges and can effectivelyutilize her insight to deliver relevant and cost-effective business solutions to the client tomaximize their return on investment. Thornton has over 13 years of corporate new storedevelopment and development strategy experience for Pepsico/ Yum Brands Restaurantsand Starbucks Coffee Company. Tamela led Starbucks central west real estate team,delivering over 65 stores to the system, generating $70 million in top line sales with anaverage IRR of 40%. Tamela was awarded the highly coveted Certified CommercialInvestment Member (CCIM) designation reserved for commercial real estateprofessionals who demonstrate expertise in investment and market analytics and whoqualify a portfolio of work. Ms. Thornton received Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees inRegional Science from the University of Pennsylvania.

KARRA GUESS

As Chief Financial Officer of E Smith Realty Partners and other companies, Karra’sresponsibilities include managing all financial aspects of the business, reporting financialresults to partners, selecting, setting up, and utilizing all ERP systems, and projecting,budgeting, and treasury. She has spent 15 years as a full time commercial real estatebroker at the Staubach Company and at Transwestern, completing millions of square feetof complex real estate transactions. Karra has served as Chief Operating Officer of TheStaubach Company - Southwest, as Chief Financial Officer of United Way of MetropolitanDallas, and as a Managing Director at Transwestern. She is a licensed CPA and hasaccomplished a spot on the Dallas Business Journal's "Heavy Hitters" list and was one ofStaubach's Top Achievers for 11 years. Karra received a BBA in Accounting and Marketingfrom Southern Methodist University and has dual MBAs from Columbia University'sGraduate School of Business and London Business School. Karra is married to Dan andhas two daughters and one son.
