Club Service Tea Gathering At the end of August, Club Service directors held a tea gathering to help freshmen make a smooth transition to university life and take their first step towards the Rotaract movement. During the gathering, we played games and conducted sharings about university life. Everyone had lots of fun making new friends in our activities and sharing their own unique experiences! Refugee Run In October, Club Service directors organized a visit to the Global Village of Crossroads Foundation where participants took part in the “refugee run” program. Through the simulation of a refugee camp, we experienced what it was like to live under prolonged hunger, corruption, lack of education and uncertain shelter and safety. It was truly an eye-opening and meaningful experience for us the fortune ones.

Community Service 2 n d Caring for the homeless 2n d Caring for the homeless was successfully held on 26t h October. We are glad to have St. James Settlement (Sai On Centre) as our partner to co-organize this event. Accompanied by social workers from the centre, we divide ourselves into three teams to visit different locations in Hong Kong Island, including Central and Western District, Wan Chai and Causeway Bay. After chatting and sharing with the homeless, participants understood more about the needs and different stories behind the homeless. They also realized the seriousness of Hong Kong’s housing issue as same as welfare problems.
