TRACES OF HISTORY

HISTORY REVITALIZEDThe Vertical Layers story withstands the test of time. Distressed surfaces caused by

weather and neglect; oxidized and crackled patterns running along walls left from the

past. Visual and tactile irregularities created by rust and patina.

Our design team found inspriation in abandoned locations in Atlanta. Reminiscing of

bygone eras, we experimented with paint and plaster techniques to inspire our carpet

patterns and bring a hand-touched design approach to the collection.

REVEAL ELEMENTS OF TIME

L54 – navy shade is classic, reliable; dark and masculine. The shade’s richness adds depth and contrasts the warmer rust shades. (C78 M71 Y54 K60)

L18 – This deep, rich ox blood appears in the oxidization of metal and is refined and elegant. (C52 M72 Y65 K64)

H53 – As cool as slate, this rich deep blue is smooth and shines in the collection. (C71 M56 Y48 K23)

B53 – The hue of copper metal before oxidation, this brown with orange undertones reflects light. (C41 M60 Y89 K36)

C53 – This gold is rich and luxurious, and the color comes from the aged metal. (C40 M44 Y86 K15)

H57 – We experienced this color when exploring abandoned locations on cloudy days. It sets the mood and accentuates colors of rust and weathering. (C51 M37 Y39 K3)

J52 – This muted taupe with slight yellow undertones complements the gold and rust shades. (C52 M72 Y65 K64)

C51 – Highlights of the C53 rich gold shade, this is the color of gold reflections. A refined and warm gold. (C28 M29 Y66 K1)

J50 – An understated blend of cream and grey. (C30 M23 Y35 K0)

G60 – This cooler cream highlights the darkness of J50 and is subtly used in the patterns for a touch of lightness. (C11 M9 Y11 K0)

Original chroma reflected in metals. Weathered hues exposed by the elements. These are colors that have prevailed from a remarkable storied past.
