Cyber Crime Law
abuses freedom?
Rallies over here and there, negative posts and comments on
facebook and twitter,
advertisements on televisions, it
is done by those people who are oppose of the republic act.
No.10175 and says ― No to
Cybercrime Law‖ . Today, government is too
deaf and blind that they cannot
hear and see the voices, actions as well as the feelings of many
Filipinos. President Benigno
Aquino III , where was the
democracy that your mother and father fought for?
The cybercrime prevention
act could see internet users sentenced up to 12 years in
prison for posting malicious and
offensive comments and posts on Facebook and twitter. But
how about our freedom of
expression? Just because one
man‘s ego and reputation is bruised, the whole nation has to
amend for it? No way! Maybe
because those accusations were true and he is affected.
Can we say that we love
that person even though we hate
him\her that much? Never! We can‘t take to be a liar just to
save ourselves from being
imprisoned. If expressing ourselves will be a crime, then
send us all Filipinos to jail, but
we need Wi-fi. According to many, our
democracy was fought by Ninoy
continued by Cory and stopped
by Noynoy. People shouldn‘t be afraid of their government. The
government should be afraid of
us because we are the law. We can get his throne whenever we
want!
Sooner or later, the Philippines will be the most
famous for the new bilibid
prison here will be recognized
as the ―World‘s largest jail ev-er‖.
Fun right?

We are studying to learn, Not to Bully
Students‘ Lives
Mariane B. Nalzaro
Does bullying your peer make you
happy?
One of the problems
government is facing today is the
campus bullying. It is a big question for
us if it is good to pass the law against
campus bullying and the answer for
that is: Yes, anti-bullying law should be
passed for the students become aware
that they should avoid bullying in
school.
We are in school to learn good
things such as good values and also to
be a person with high intellect not to
bully and hurt our peers. They are also
sending in school to learn their lessons,
not to be bullied.
According to the report in
Manila Bulletin last January 17, 2012,
bullying is now the number one non
-academic issue that most educators
face, and is one of the top concerns of
many parents.
It is defined as an act of
repeated aggressive behavior in order
to intentionally hurt another person
either emotionally, verbally, or
physically, bullying is characterized
by an individual behaving in a
certain way to gain power over
another person. Bullies may behave
this way out of jealousy or because
they themselves are bullied. When
they leave school, they will most
likely carry on their bullying in the
workplace.
There are lots of ways on
how to discipline a person. Bullying
is not the answer. It cannot make you
happy; it will give you lots of
problems, instead.
One of the solutions to this
problem is House Bill 5496, the Anti
-Bullying Act of 2012, seeks to
promote greater awareness of the
impact of bullying and how it can be
prevented.
Remember what Confucius
said,‖Repay kindness with kindness
while repay evil with justice‖. And
that said justice is not about
bullying.

Many of us want to be a
policeman, lawyer, doctor, chef
and especially a teacher. But
have you ever wondered of how
you are going to achieve one of
these professions.
Have you ever asked
that question to yourself? If you
do, then this question could only
be answered by a single word
―TEACHER‖. .
They are our hopes.
They are the reason why we
learned different things. Do you
have your idol? If you do, why
not idolizing his\her mentors
first? Because the reason why
your idol became like this.
They have sacrificed
lots of things. Their prides and
ego were vanished. Patience is
their greatest trait. Without it,
they can‘t be called as teachers.
A simple respect to
them will express how much we
adore them. They are the sources
of our wisdom.
We didn‘t learn from
school. We learn because of our
teachers. Our school is just a
place where we are molded to
become a good fellow someday.
We must thank our

Pablo: Who shall be blamed?
Another Christmas Day was ruined because of a never
expected disaster, tragedy, and
the worst phenomenon ever that
had happened in the Land of Promise.
It was December 04,
2012 as when Typhoon Pablo hit the whole region of Mindanao.
Davao Oriental and Compostela
Valley Province were the two who get affected by this
catastrophe. The most terrible
was he killed more than
thousand of life and hundreds were still missing.
Who should be blamed?
Is this a mistake of the government who have not given
the exact information? Those
who are illegal loggers and miners? Or to those who did not
believe in the warnings?
These were the
questions that need answers.
Questions that could not be
answered by everyone. And now, many school
children are suffering from this
mistake. No classrooms to conduct their classes, no papers
and pens to write their learning,
and no books to read fairytales and history.
This could be prevented.
But despite of those
sufferings the victims remain hopeful, and happy that they
could move on in their most
horrible moments in their lives. For those who are the
reason of this devastation,
misfortune, and disaster please open your eyes, mind, and heart
there will be no life are losing
and missing if you take care of
mother earth. Sooner or later soon you
will be affected.

Tugonon should be the Miss Universe
―For me, being Miss Universe is
not just about knowing how to speak a
specific language. It‘s being able to
influence and inspire other people. So
whatever language you have, as long as
your heart is to serve and you have a
strong mind to show to people, then you
can be Miss Universe.‖
This was the toughest and the best
answer of Ms. Janine Tugon a proud
Filipina who had made whole the
archipelago very happy and proud.
This was the third time that
Philippines was joined in the Top 5 of the
said competition. Last 2010 Ms. Venus
Raj ended 4th Runner– up, Ms. Shamcey
Supsup was announced 3rd Runner– up
last 2011, and now Ms. Janine Tugonon
landed 1st Runner– up last December 20,
2012 at Las Vegas, USA.
But why it is that she ended up
first runner– up? OMG, what had
happened? Is there any thing that
happened during the pageant?
If we are talking about because
Ms. USA is more beautiful than her I
guess it is wrong. She could not make it
to Top 16, Top 10, and even Top 5 if she
is not beautiful.
There is a big reason why it
happened. This is all God‘s will. Let us
hope that Ms. USA could do her
responsibility as Ms. Universe 2012. That
she could continue the advocacy and the
legacy of being a Ms. Universe.
But as Filipino, we still remain
humble and calm. Let us just support Ms.
Tugunon on her journey as Bb. Pilipinas
Universe and 1st Runner up in the Ms.
Universe 2012, because for us, She will
always be our Ms. Universe.
And we do hope for the next
year‘s competition there will a fair and
good decision. On my own opinion.
―We Wish You a Merry Christmas and a Happy New
Year.‖
This is a joyful song
sung by everybody every Christmas day but not for the
family of those 20 six– graders
and six adults died in the shoot out at Sandy Hook Elementary
School in Newtown,
Connecticut. It was a mourning
Christmas and a sad New Year
also for the family of Adam
Lanza. His mother described him like other school graders
who wore their school uniform
and go to school every morning.
What makes him different from the others, he
liked playing a violent video
game, choosing a military-style
assault rifle as one of his weapons.
Is this one of the reasons
why he killed those innocent children and adults? Or he was
not properly guided of what to
do by his parents? To the parents, this is a
lesson to ponder. You should not
let your kids play violent games
nor play guns. See to it the your eyes are always in your kids.
This should not be
happened again and again.

Bayanihan Spirit
I
Say
Good
Christopher Niepes
Bayanihan is one of the values that Filipinos are proud
off.
This value was showed
when Typhoon Pablo hit Davao Oriental and Compostela
Valley. Many were not
celebrating this Christmas Party because they don‘t want to
enjoy while others were
mourning and sad. This is what Bayanihan is. Instead, they go to
ComVal and Davao Oriental and
gave goods, dresses, and
medicines.
There were many people who gave their help to the victims
of Pablo. But the Filipinos were
not the only one who offered their
hands to the victims but also the people from our neighboring
countries like Malaysia, Thailand,
Indonesia, and Korea extended their help to everyone. Not only
that even the United State of
America and United Nations showed also this kind of spirit.
That is why, despite of all
the pains that the victims felt
because of the lost of their love ones, properties, and friends they
still remain hopeful because of
these people who did not feel tiredness of helping others.
But a problem occurred,
this was abused by many people, by many victims.
They used this bayanihan spirit for one reason, to win the
hearts of these people for their
political ambition because
elections is fast approaching. How could they do this to
all of us? How could they make
use of this mourning moment to gain popularity?
This should not be
happened. People of the Philippines please do not let this
kind of people ruined the
Bayanihan spirit. If they are really
concerned of the victims why they let their names to come out, for
publicity? Oh common!
Let us remain the true spirit of BAYANIHAN.
I Say Good to Bayanihan!

Many trials exist because you need
to exercise one thing ―Faith‖.
The line ―Believe to Achieve‖
is from the person who has a great

one person and that person is Dr.
Aurelia O. Ortiz.
Great believer, Great achiever!
The life of Dr. Ortiz is an inspirable one to a student like me.
Even life filled with miserable
things but then she still standing
and soaring high to continue her journey. There were a lot of
achievements that all students
wanted to have. There were dreams that were fulfilled because of her
faith and perseverance
I considered her life as a
full of painful and tiring
responsibilities but she still has the
spirit of being optimistic. Even her
life achieve, there are lot of
problems she encountered and one
of its biggest trial is that she suf-
fered from an above the knee ampu-

‗‘I Love You‘‘
These are the words I
always want to say to my
precious one. I want to spend all
my time in playing with her, and I
want to show to her how
important she is into my life.
Every day, when she
wakes up I never failed to tell her
‗‘good morning baby‘‘ and gave
her my warmest hug and kisses.
Her dazzling smile makes me feel
glad. Her voice is like a melody
that whisper to my ears. In times I
feel boredom, I read my favorite
fairy tale stories to her and
sometimes I teach her how to
write and read. I do also love to
take her in a bath, gave her my
tiny clothes that not fit to me at
all and even in sleeping beside
her in the silent night.
I wish I would have those
things in reality. To have a real
sister and best friend to be play
with. To have a little angel that
completes my happiness. I just
always pray to God that He
always will give me my one
desire.
I am now 12 years old
but god still not answering my
prayers. But even how many
years pass by I will never stop
asking God for answer that He
will give my precious angel.
Suddenly, a very good
day came. Mama told me that
she is carrying the one I am
waiting for- My Precious
Angel! I was shocked to know
it. My heart beats fast as I heard
that it was a baby girl.
Starting that day my life
feels like full of excitement and
joyful moments until the day

My Precious Little

gorgeous angel! She is so
beautiful and prettier that the

I can‘t express my
feelings that day. All I just did
is to smile. ‗‘Thank You Lord‘‘
the phrase that always comes to
my mind over and over again.
She is the only one I
have, ‗‘my doll‘‘. That filled the
emptiness of being alone here in
my heart. She is my acting little
sister and best friend and the
one who brings happiness and
color of my dormant world.

A Merry Christmas
Oh! It‘s Christmas time again. And I am very
excited and happy. This is the most awaited day of
my life. I could not even imagine how happy that day
would be. Exchanging gifts, eating of those favorite
foods; ice cream, cakes, fruit salad, lechon baboy,
and of course the hamon uhmmmm sounds delicious
right?
But if these will make me happy, what about
those who were affected by the Bagyong Pablo? Are
they will going to experience what I really wanted to
happen this Christmas?
I could not even imagine that I am enjoying
while others are mourning because of the lost of their
love ones, properties, and friends, the worst thing is
that the opportunity to celebrate a Merry Christmas.
Everytime I saw an interview on the
television, I could not help my self but cry, those
little children who were supposed to be happy
because this is the day that they were waiting for
like I do, but those smiles on their face were turned
into sadness.
I was thinking if there is a right for me to
celebrate this joyous day of the year, but I should,
this is the birth of our savior Jesus Christ so I should
celebrate it.
Despite of those tragedy that those victims
encountered they still remain hopeful and happy in
their on ways because of those people who gave
support to them.
That‘s why when I heard that the school was
asking for any donation to be given to them, I didn‘t
had any hesitation to give what I have. Rice, canned
goods, clothes, medicines, and bottled water were
some of the donations that we gave them.
At least with those small things that we gave I
know that it will mean a lot to them. Those were gifts
that will make them happy.
Now I know, that the true spirit of Christmas
is not about those delicious foods, gifts, and new
clothes but it is all about how you can make other
happy especially those are in need of your help.

Even though how far it takes, How long it takes,
Even though how tough it seems, They will share God’s gift called
FOREVER!
Forever is the word I really wanted, Forever will be not be enough
Loving you forever, is loving you ‘till the end.
Forever doesn’t have an end, Forever is a promise to keep,
And forever will be a story that needs a happy end.
I Love You Forever!
-Japeth James G. Candelon
Where are you, when I fall for you?
Have you ever falling in love when someone is already gone?
This story will bring you to the world of wasted love.
It was Friday afternoon when he told me that he liked me so much, that
everytime he sees me, he always dream that I am the princess of his majestic
castle. I felt no feelings towards him. I was always thinking that those words
were just a figurative speech to win my innocent heart.
He did not lose his undying hope. His love was as strong as the Great
Wall of China, it seems like it could not be broken into pieces. But I did not learn
to appreciate it.
One day, a never expected scenario had happened it seemed like the
world changed its rotation, he did not look at me right now, he cannot even say
hi to me everytime that we see each other. I could not even heard the sweetness
of his words that he uttered from his mouth, but why is it that I felt like this, I
missed him. My day will not be completed if I could not see him, am I fallen for
him? No, this could not be happening to me. I don‘t like him, as what my mind
says, but my heart will always disagree.
One time I saw him at the canteen, I sit beside him. ―HI!‖ as I said. A
smile from him was the only response I received. ―how are you?‖ I asked him. A
simple nod I received. He walked and leave me alone. My mind said that it is ok,
he was just a boy who courted and given me those weird simile and hyperbole.
But why is it that I feel this pain in my heart. I could not even imagine myself
what I felt inside. But my mind will always disagree of what I felt inside.
As I went home, bringing my bag, I saw him on the street talking to a
woman, he hugged her and a kissed on her cheek. This time I felt that my heart is
broken into pieces, but I should not feel like this because I did not love him, I
don‘t even care for him. But I am. Yes, and this the time that I love him so much.
After that I did not see him anymore, I really missed him, I really do. I
was thinking that he is in the right person now. I know he is now very happy,
happy because he is now at peace, he is now in the person that love him uncondi-
tionally, at the person that who never let his hope gone.
I just bow and said, ―Lord please take care of him, I know that he is now
at your side, please tell him that I really love him so much. I know that it is too
late but at least deep in my heart I know that you loved him I like I do.

Top 10 New Discoveries of 2012 (According to National Geographics)
10. Giant Crocodile Breaks Size Record Lolong has hit the big time—at 20.24 feet (6.17 meters) long, the saltwater crocodile is officially the largest in
captivity, the Guinness World Records announced in July.
9. Sugar Found in Space Astronomers have made a sweet discovery: simple sugar molecules floating in the gas around a star some 400
light-years away, suggesting the possibility of life on other planets.
8. New Planet Found in Our Solar System?
Kuiper belt objects are small icy bodies—including some dwarf planets—that lie beyond the orbit of Neptune.
7. "God Particle" Found?
In July, two separate teams working at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC)reported they were more than 99 percent
certain they've discovered the Higgs boson, aka the God particle—or at the least a brand-new particle exactly where
they expected the Higgs to be.
6. "Lost World" in Antarctica
An unnamed new species of Yeti crab swarms near hot, mineral-rich hydrothermal vents in the oceans off Antarctica—a newfound "lost world" of strange deep-sea species, scientists say.
5. Nine-Planet System Discovered?
A star about 127 light-years from Earth may have even more planets than thesun, which would make the planetary system the most populated yet found. According to an April study, HD 10180—a sunlike star in the southern
constellation Hydrus—may have as many as nine orbiting planets, besting the eight official planets in our solar
system.
4. New-Species "Heaven" in Peru
A new species of night monkey (pictured) is one of eight new mammals found during an expedition to northern Peru's Tabaconas Namballe National Sanctuary (map), scientists announced in September.
3. Limbless Amphibians Discovered
They aren't worms or even snakes. They're soil-burrowing, limblessamphibians, and they're completely new to science, a February study suggested.
2. Maya Mural Contradicts Doomsday In the last known largely unexcavated Maya megacity, archaeologists have uncovered the only known mural
adorning an ancient Maya house—and it's not just any mural, scientists said in May. In addition to a still vibrant scene
of a king and his retinue, the walls are rife with calculations that helped ancient scribes track vast amounts of time. Contrary to the idea the Maya predicted the end of the world in 2012, the markings suggest dates thousands of years in
the future.
1. "Dramatic" Maya Temple Found Some 1,600 years ago, the Temple of the Night Sun was a blood-red beacon visible for miles and adorned with giant
masks of the Maya sun god as a shark, blood drinker, and jaguar. Long since lost to the Guatemalan jungle, the
temple—our most popular discovery of 2012—is finally showing its faces to archaeologists, and revealing new clues
about the rivalrous kingdoms of he Maya, scientists said in May.
12-21-12, an end? MARIANE MAE NALZARO
Have you watched the 2012
movie? Are you not scared if those
catastrophes will happen? Are you for
that day to come? I heard a lot hearsays that the
world will going to end. I don‘t know
what would be my reaction for this,
am I going to believe them? Funny it is that the world will going to end.
My friend told me one time
that this is really true, it is because this ―end of the world‖ issue was
based on the Ancient Mayan
Calendar. I was starting to panic im-agine he has an evidence that the
world will really end.
Then I went to a an internet
café to search for what does really Mayan Calendar is all about. I found
out that it really true, but according to
the www.nasa.gov, Just as the
calendar you have on your kitchen wall does not cease to exist after
December 31, the Mayan calendar
does not cease to exist on December
21, 2012. This date is the end of the Mayan long-count period but then --
just as your calendar begins again
on January 1 -- another long-count period begins for the Mayan calen-
dar.
So nothing to worry, experts say that 12-21-12 will not end.
Oh! Thank God for this. But
whether it is true or not the only thing
the we must do is to be always prepare. Let us enjoy the life the God

We Want Pacquiao-Marquez 5
After three close battles,
Juan Manuel Maquez finally
beats Manny Pacquaio.
With blood streaming
from a broken nose, he still land-
ed a very powerful punch at a
very few seconds left of the sixth
round which ended the fight .
After eight remarkable
consecutive wins of Manny
Pacquaio, his 4th fight with Ma-
nuel Marquez was his greatest
fall, and this time, by a knockout
with just a second left.
As we had noticed,
Marquez prepared much and
trained well for that fight. Manny
Pacquaio. In the ring, he was like
a possessed man as he punches
Pacquaio. It was very obvious
that he had mastered all the skills
and techniques of our pride.
However, Pacquiao still gave his
best and even landed more punch-
es (92 versus the 56 of Marquez)
prior to eating the death punch of
the Mexican but then he did not
get the throne at all.
Mostly says that Pacquaio must end
his boxing career at this early and
not wait for the time that his life will
be risked because of this sport. They
think that he should pay close
attention in being lawmaker.
But Manny still wants to
have fifth fight. He doesn‘t want to
be a loser. He is great fighter.
He shouldn‘t stop his career
because of just two loses. We know
he could make it. This is not the end
for him.
Afterall, the folk still wants
Manny to prove that he is the one.
They want another fight. It
Go and bring the pride of us
Filipinos !
