At the Dugways, the Portage Escarpment has several hard rock layers. Most important areBerea SandstoneEuclid bluestone 2015 Bluestone Heights7In settling the Heights, sandstone, flowing water and groundwater were important resources. The Dugway WB landscape generated several early water related industries, now almost forgotten.
