Basic Services of Funeral Director and Staff ..................................................................................... $2,395.00 This charge includes the 24-hour availability of our staff to respond to the initial request for service; arrangement conference with responsible party; coordination of all details with respect to gathering signatures, preparation and recording of all necessary paperwork including veterans' benefits, Social Security forms, and other required forms; preparation and placement of local obituary notices; staff assistance prior to, during, and following the services, including consultation and coordination with all involved parties such as cemeteries, crematories, transportation agencies, and others (this fee is already included in our charges for direct cremation, immediate burials, and forwarding and receiving of remains). Included in this basic service fee is a proportionate share of our overhead expenses such as administrative services, professional licensing, legal and accounting fees, OSHA and environmental compliance, taxes, utilities, insurance, and other expenses associated with maintaining the building, equipment, furnishings, inventory, parking lot, and grounds. .......................................................................................... doctor or coroner, processing and obtaining permits, embalming, dressing, cosmetology,
