Jamiesons RunLimestone Coast ChardonnayAs far as value for money goes, this Limestone Coast Chardonnay is terrific. Crisp and fresh in its style, this wine displays a lifted floral nose, with intense white peach and rockmelon flavours on a palate that is deliciously balanced. A Gold Medal winning wine for this price tag shows that you can still get a great quality wine without paying the earth.

Jacob’s CreekChardonnayPinot NoirThis non vintage sparkling wine is made from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir and offers terrific elegance and balance for its price. A stylish bouquet of yeast, biscuit and cashews flow through to a generous palate filled with fruit flavours of citrus and apple. Fine with a persistent bead, this sparkling is ideally suited as an aperitif or for any occasion that calls for a celebration.

Oyster BayMarlboroughChardonnayWhen it comes to Chardonnay there is a great rule of thumb, the cooler the climate, the better the quality. This Marlborough Chardonnay displays a bright and vibrant bouquet on the nose while offering a diverse range of flavours on the palate. Fruit flavours of melon and apricot kernels combine with characters of citrus and hazelnut to create an expressive and long lasting wine. Deliciously crisp, this wine is a great match to a creamy mushroom risotto.

Brown BrothersPinot Noir ChardonnayThis elegant sparkling wine is a blend of the traditional Champagne varieties of Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay. The nose is fresh and lifted with classic yeasty, bready aromas and the palate has a wonderful creamy mouth-feel and complexity. One of Australia’s most awarded non vintage sparkling wines it will make a perfect start to any celebration.

Lindeman’sBin 95Sauvignon BlancIf you’re looking for a great wine to enjoy that is also affordable then you can’t go past the range of Lindeman’s Bin wines, in particular the Bin 95 Sauvignon Blanc. With upfront fruit flavours of pineapple and fresh citrus on a palate that is crisp and clean, that enjoyable glass of Sauvignon Blanc at the end of a hard day just became a little more affordable.

Taylors EstateCabernet Sauvignon

PenfoldsThomas HylandShiraz

Taylors has been producing consistently good value Cabernet from the Clare Valley for decades. Flavours of mulberry and vanilla are enhanced by a well-structured addition of oak and a seamless finish. Rich and concentrated this wine displays great varietal expression and length and is a reflection of the long dynasty of this wine.

We all know that Penfolds has a long history of producing world class, full bodied red wine. The fact is that they have produced some of Australia’s greatest Shiraz of all time and this wine offers a little of that tradition without the higher price tag. Rich, flavoursome and full-bodied this wine was designed to drink now while we patiently wait for the Kalimna to develop in the cellar.

Wolf BlassYellow LabelShirazOne if the icons of the Australian wine industry, Wolf Blass pioneered the current philosophies about wine labels through the introduction of his basic colour schemes. It was Wolf’s belief that a simple colour made the wine easier to recall for people and how right he was. The Yellow Label range has stood the test of time with not only its colour, but also for its quality and value for money.

Jacob’s CreekRegional ReserveShirazOne of the most consistent wines you can buy in Australia, this Shiraz rarely disappoints. This wine consistently over delivers on quality for the price and is regularly awarded show medals and endorsements year after year. The full-bodied palate offers lashings of, upfront fruit flavours that combine with hints of vanilla to create a structure finish that is firm but not aggressive. Delicious!

TaylorsJaramanShirazA blend of both the McLaren Vale and Clare Valley regions of South Australia, this Shiraz displays rich varietal flavours of blackberry and plum on a palate that is supported by oak derived characters of vanilla and chocolate. Long and intensely flavoured, this wine will be best matched to a plate of slow cooked osso bucco or lamb shanks.

Jim BarryCover DriveCabernet SauvignonThis Cabernet Sauvignon is a blend of fruit sourced from the Clare Valley and Coonawarra regions in South Australia. It has a rich, full bodied palate with flavours of sweet blackberry, cassis and mint. The tannin structure is firm, yet approachable and the finish is long and flavoursome. Absolutely perfect to enjoy now this wine will be the perfect accompaniment to a Lamb Roast.

Blended Scotch whiskies now constitute about 90% of the whisky produced in Scotland. They were initially created as an alternative to single malt whiskies, which some considered too harsh to taste. Producers combine the various malts and grain whiskies to produce a consistent brand style and taste. A blended whiskey (or whisky) is the product of blending different types of malt & grain whiskies. It is generally the product of mixing one or more higher quality straight or single malt whiskies with higher-alcohol-content spirits or neutral spirits and water.Three types of blends are defined for Scotch whisky:

1. Blended malt Scotch whisky means a blend of two or more single malt Scotch whiskies from different distilleries.

2. Blended grain Scotch whisky means a blend of two or more single grain Scotch whiskies from different distilleries.

3. Blended Scotch whisky means a blend of one or more single malt Scotch whiskies with one or more single grain Scotch whiskies.
