• The school system in Dubai does not differ from the school system in the United Arab Emirates.

• The Ministry of Education of the United Arab Emirates is responsible for school's accreditation. The Dubai Education Council was established in July 2005 to develop the education sector in Dubai.

• The medium of instruction in public schools is Arabic with emphasis on English as a second language. While most of the private schools use English as their medium of instruction.

• In a matter of very few years Dubai’s development has grown enormously and at tremendous speed, and it has become a very powerful and majestic country, being its architecture one of the many aspects that gives it this reputation.

• Despite all the development the country has had in technological, architectural, political, economical and social areas, it’s still projecting itself to become a World Center, meaning a Global City.
