HEADLIGHT BEAM PATTERN GUIDEHeadlamp systems are required to produce a low and a high beam, which may be achieved either by an individual lamp for each function or by a single dual beam lamp. Low beams cast most of their light straight ahead, but they sometimes produce too much glare for safety of other drivers on the road. This is why quality bulbs and headlights as well as proper installation and adjustment are essential to a safe driving experience. A good beam pattern should have a max height of 0.9 x height of headlight. The “HEADLIGHT” line represent’s that figure.
