Leasing Agency and Brokerage Our leasing agency and brokerage professionals serve landlords and occupiers in fulfilling their leasing needs – as well as the purchase and sale of business space on behalf of occupiers. We serve clients across all commercial property types, with specialists in offices, retail, hospitality, industrial and logistics.

We work closely with developers to secure tenants ahead of the completion of new buildings, busi-ness parks and shopping centres; with investors to maximise income from existing properties and keep vacancies to a minimum; and with corporate and public sector occupiers looking for cost effec-tive, flexible property portfolios.

Our leasing agency and brokerage teams offer occupiers strategic advice on the cost, avail-ability, and suitability of buildings and locations, and manage the execution of acquisitions and disposals. Our Global Corporate Services (GCS) team acts as a single point of contact for multi- national occupiers, while providing unified access to our on-the-ground leasing agency and broker-age teams worldwide.

ValuationDTZ provides comprehensive valuation, appraisal and due diligence advice to a wide range of clients, including investors, corporate and public sector owners, lenders, and fund managers. Our clients use our valuation advice for a variety of purposes including assessing potential transactions, asset financing, financial reporting and IPO listings.

We value all types of real estate assets. From tradi-tional property to the unique, we have valued every-thing from London’s Millennium Dome (now the O2 Arena) to national banks, court houses and airports.

Working with you, we assess your property assets and identify where and how the greatest value might be realised. Integrity and rigour are vital in this field and our risk assessment and vetting procedures are second to none.

DTZ is listed in the FTSE4Good index series, the responsible investment index designed to facilitate investment in companies which meet globally rec-ognised corporate responsibility standards.

DTZ is a member of Business in the Community (BitC), one of The Prince’s Charities in the UK, with the stated aim to ‘mobilise business for good’. Member companies are recognised as leaders in responsible business practices and DTZ’s involve-ment has included BitC programmes such as ‘Seeing is Believing’, the May Day environmental pledge and the Corporate Responsibility Index.

Our corporate charity partner in the UK is Shelter, the housing and homelessness charity. We engage in a wide range of fundraising events to support Shelter such as marathon runs, art auctions and quiz nights.

Our UK volunteering policy encourages staff to take time out of the office to support worthy causes. This policy provides a shared opportunity for staff to make a positive contribution to our communities; we are immensely proud of their efforts.

Outside the UK each country sets its own cor-porate responsibility agenda. For example, DTZ’s Shanghai office organised participation in a UK Pavilion sports event in support of a local charity dedicated to the care of Chinese children with cerebral palsy and local staff mobilised resources to help the victims of the typhoon that engulfed Taiwan in August 2009.
