Managed Offshore Delivery Model

• This option involves use of our skilled offshore based development or testing resources for your specific deliverables, as an extension to your team.

• Ideal if you already have an in-house development team and are simply looking to cost effectively extend/complement your existing development capability, perhaps for new project, while your core team provides business-as-usual support.

• Assigned resources will work under the direct control of your Team/Project Manager. Weekly timesheets will be provided for Resources’ efforts expended.

• This option provides faster ramp-up and flexible ramp-down of development/testing resources.

• Core team will be retained while the larger team can be added/reduced based on the ebb and flow of the project.


Project executed on a firm fixed price model based on clearly defined requirements specifications.

End-to-end Project and Delivery Management.

Project deliverables would be incremental and would based on various milestones/activities agreed with the customer.

Complete support during customer User Acceptance Testing (UAT) & deployment.

Well defined change control management procedures.

Includes post-implementation warranty of deliverables for an agreed period of time to fix any bugs not identified during UAT phase.

DSRC would retain core project staff to provide ongoing support and maintenance, if customer wishes to consider this option.

Fixed Price Projects

• This option involves fixed price approach to development based on detailed specification.

• Ideal for situations where you’d like to outsource a complete project/product development for a fixed price.

• Development projects are broken down into logical deliverables based on time-box or functionality or based on specific go-to-market strategies and milestones.

• Ideally suitable for projects where requirements and deliverables are clearly defined.

• If detailed specification is not available, we can assist with a feasibility study and develop a detailed specification. You can take full leverage of DSRC’s Development Project Management and Business Analysis services.


• Time & Material Model: per calendar month basis (managed service delivery).

• Firm, fixed-price Model – for turnkey engagements when requirements are clear. well-defined and documented.

• Base offshore pricing ranges from $14/hour – $25/hour depending upon experience, skill level and skill-set; this covers from junior developers to application architects and project managers.

• Blended pricing: >7 offshore resources with 6 months contract or >3 offshore resources with 12 months contract.

• Resource Ramp-up: 2 – 4 weeks; Resource ramp-down: 3 – 4 weeks.
