The DSB 1 Series hydraulic drilling rigs have proventheir performance worldwide in the widest variety ofgeological situations.

They are genuinely universal drilling rigs which canbe equipped for any drilling task thanks to theirmodular design. A particular feature of NORDMEYER SMAG drillingrigs is their highly efficient hydraulic system whichhas proven itself in heavy duty construction site use.It is made up of separate hydraulic systems whichwork in closed, open and load sensing circuits. Thismeans that the load placed on one assembly doesnot affect the performance of the other assemblies.

The hydraulic control system is a combination ofmanual hydraulic valves and a dependable CAN Buscontrol. A Process Data Module (PDM) with multi-functional joysticks forms the central display andcontrol unit at the ergonomically designedoperating stand.
