What is Drupal?

• Drupal is an open source Content Management System.

• A historic look at website creation. – Simple HTML pages – 1990a – Frontpage

Dreamweaver – Script and CGI -> Databases– Generalized tool to create, edit, and organize

content – CMS. – Drupal eliminates the webmaster.
