Calming and protective treatment for the sensitive skins



Make a progressive pressure during 3 to 7 seconds on each point. Make 3 successive pressures more and more strong, on each point.

Contact Put hands on ears and stimulate the point in front of the ear with thumbs.

Preparation of ARGI PURE POULTICE : Pour the content of a sachet into a bowl then add 30 ml of water without mixing it. Leave on for 20 min minimum so that the clay hydrates and releases its trace elements.

Scheme of an oily skin

Characteristics of oily skins The sebum is an oily substance produced by sebaceous glands, which aim is to protect the skin.

Oily skins are characterised by an abnormal production of sebum, also called seborrhoea. This phenomenon is directly linked to the activity of an enzyme: 5-α-reductase.

This enzyme transforms the testosterone into dihydrotestosterone (DHT), which increases the number of sebaceous cells in the gland. As a consequence, it increases the production of sebum and provokes an hypertrophy of the sebaceous glands (an increase of the volume of the gland).

The activity of these sebaceous glands blocks the pores and provokes an inflammation, then an imperfection.

Make-up removal Remove eye make-up with the AZULENE EYE TONING LOTION. Apply the appropriate MILK to the entire face and neck. Emulsify with circular movements. Rinse and tone with the appropriate LOTION. Dry.

Exfoliation Put into a small dish a good knob (6ml) of APPLE FRESH GEL, add APPLE EXFOLIATING PIPS and mix with a spatula. 1 or 2 sachets of APPLE EXFOLIATING PIPS according to the degree of intensity wanted. Apply with a brush to the entire face and neck avoiding the eye contour. Moisturize the finger tips to emulsify the APPLE FRESH GEL then proceed to a massage during a few minutes. Application of the mask Preparation Put into a small dish 2 good knobs (12ml) of APPLE FRESH GEL. Application Apply a half of the APPLE FRESH GEL with a brush to the entire face and neck. What is skin ageing?

Factors that influence the ageing process

Outward signs of ageing

In the epidermis The keratinocytes renewal decreases by 50% between 30 and 60 years old and the water loss is

In the dermis

Application Apply the PEELING 4/26 on the entire face from the less sensitive areas (neck, chin, forehead) to the most sensitive (cheeks, nose, crow’s feet) by insisting on wrinkles. Make-up removal Apply CAMOMILE EYE MAKE-UP REMOVER to the eyes. Then apply MULBERRY BRIGHTENING MILK* to the entire face, the neck and décolleté. Emulsify making circular movements. Rinse then tone with MULBERRY BRIGHTENING TONING LOTION*. Dry.

Exfoliation: Prepare the skin Peeling 1. Prepare 4 cotton pads soaked with HYDRO-NEUTRALISING SOLUTION in a dish. 2. Apply 2 new cotton pads in another dish and apply 5 pressures of PEELING 4/26 on each cotton pad. 3. Prepare 2 fold in half cotton pads, soaked with AZULENE TONING LOTION, then place them on the eyes. 4. Apply PEELING 4/26 to the entire face from the less sensitive areas (neck, chin, forehead) to the most sensitive (cheeks, nose, crow’s feet) by insisting on wrinkles and pigmentation marks. Return cotton pads and perform a second passage. Leave on for exactly 2 min. If the client is used to peelings and does not feel any sensation of discomfort, you can progressively leave PEELING 4/26 on, until 5 min.

Neutralisation Remove the cotton pads from the eyes. Take 2 cotton pads soaked with HYDRO-NEUTRALISING SOLUTION and apply them to the entire face starting from the most sensitive areas, then return them and perform a second passage. Start again with the 2 others cotton pads.

Rinsing Thoroughly rinse with water using new cotton pads (until disappearance of tingling). Tone and dry.

Precaution for use: avoid any contact with the eyes, avoid any exposure to the sun after the peeling or use a protection adapted in case of sun exposure in order to avoid any risk of UV sensitizing linked to peeling.

Melanin The melanin, natural pigment of the skin, is synthesized in intracellular elements called

melanosomes, which migrate along the melanocyte’s dendrites toward keratinocytes.

The melanin pigmentation of the skin comes from the combination of two pigments : ■ phaeomelanin, from yellow to red-brown colour, ■ eumelanin, from brown to black colour.

The melanin plays an important role in the skin’s protection against the attacks of UV radiations: under the influence of these radiations, free radicals are released and the melanin acts as an antioxidant. It catches these free radicals and thus protects the cells of the epidermis.


What is a melanocyte ?

Melanogenesis In the heart of melanosomes, the melanin is synthesized thanks to complicated chemical

reactions, from an amino acid, the tyrosine, and in the presence of a key enzyme, the tyrosinase.

UV stimulate the synthesis of melanin in melanocytes because of the direct activation of the tyrosinase.

Melanocytes represent about 3% of the epidermis cells that are more or less variable according to the body areas. They are responsible of the skin pigmentation.

They are dendritic cells which presence in the basal membrane is very irregular: they are concentrated in some areas, while other areas of the epidermis totally lack of it.

From 30 years old, the number of active melanocytes decreases by about 10 % each 10 years. It leads to an irregular pigmentation and pale skin.

Photo-exposed melanocytes that remain in the epidermis are hyperactive and their number is multiplied by 2 in the irradiated areas. This is provoked by the cellular splitting because of UV effect.

Prepare the Shingles before starting the Relaxing Massage:

1 bag = 5 shingles to realise by yourself

Mix the bag of powder with 100 ml of warm water (28° C). Take the paste in your hands and model 5 Shingles. Smooth it with one or two pressures of PEACH RELAXING MASSAGE OIL, then put them on the back of the client, on the relaxation points.

* Let the oil warming only few minutes and control the temperature on your hand before applying it on the body.

Replace the 3 Shingles on the back (sacrum, middle of the back, nape of the neck). Cover the back to leave the legs bare.

Preparation of Relaxing Hot Shingles 1

Warm up regularly PEACH RELAXING MASSAGE OIL in the OIL-HEATER*.

The client lies on her stomach. Leave her back bare then put 1 Shingle in each hand of the client and leave the others on the sacrum, the middle of the back and the nape of the neck.

Relaxing massage of the back 2

Execute each movement 3 times around the Shingles.

1. Effleurages on each side of the backbone with your hands.

2. “Grapefruit” movements on the shoulder blades.

3. Circular movements with the thumbs on each side of the backbone, from the top to the bottom of the back. Then return with smoothing movements to the hands.

4. Smooth the lower back with opposed hands and return with smoothing movements on the sides to the hands.

Take a Shingle in each hand (leave the one on the sacrum):

5. Smooth with the Shingles along the backbone towards the lower back.

6. Massage the shoulders. Realize smoothing movements in fir tree from the shoulders to the lower back.

7. Circular movements.

8. Heavy smoothing movement with the whole weight of your body along the backbone, then return to the hands.




The client lies on her stomach. Leave the legs bare and leave 1 Shingles in each hand of the client, on the sacrum, the middle of the back and the nape of the neck. Then apply PEACH RELAXING MASSAGE OIL to the legs.

Withdraw the 3 Shingles from the back. Leave the 2 others in the hands of the client.

Cover the whole body with the towel and realise each movement only one time.

1. Upward cat steps all over the body. Return with small waves.

2. Pressures with fists on the sole of the feet.

3. Stretch the whole legs.

Execute each movement 3 times and go down stretching the leg and enveloping the foot.

1. Rotating movements xith fingers all over the leg. Return with classic effleurage.

2. Smoothing movements with crossed hands from the heel to the top of the thigh. Return using light effleurages with fingertips.

3. Light vibrations: rock the whole leg between your two hands.

4. Smooth the leg with your fists.

5. Bracelet effleurage

Repeat this movements on the other leg.

Make upward bracelet smoothing movements on both legs then return with effleurage.

The client lies on her back. Place the 3 Shingles on the relaxation points: under the navel, on the plexus, on the top of the chest. Leave the 2 others in the hands of the client.

Each movement will be realised 3 times.

1. Envelop the foot.

2. Work on the top of the foot using “apple breaking” movements (smoothing movements from the middle of the foot to the outside).

3. Stretch each toe.

4. Rotating smoothing movements on the malleolus (ankle).

5. Smoothing movements on the plantar arch with thumbs ( 3 times), then with the fist ( 3 times), then finish with pressures.

Repeat the movements executed when the client was on her stomach and go down stretching the whole legs and enveloping the foot:

6. Rotating movements with thumbs all over the leg, avoiding the knee.

7. Smoothing movements with crossed hands to the top of the thigh, avoiding the knee. Return using light effleurage with fingertips.

8. Light vibrations: rock the whole leg between your two hands.

9. Smooth the leg with fists.

10. Bracelet effleurage.

Make upward bracelet smoothing movements on both legs then return with effleurage.

Repeat these movements on the other foot, then the other leg.




Leave the stomach bare. Leave the 2 Shingles in the hands of the client and position the 2 others under each shoulder. Keep the 5th Shingle for the massage.

Each movement will be realised 3 times.

1. Clockwise circular effleurages with the Shingle.

2. Heavy pressure with the Shingle on the solar plexus.

Put the Shingle above the chest.

3. Circular smoothing movements in figure of sun with alternated hands.

4. Large alternated bracelets from the sides to the middle of the stomach.

5. Return on the plexus, smooth under the ribs and finish along the ilium.

6. Press the shoulders then smooth along the arms to the hands.

Withdraw the Shingles from the hands of the client and take these 2 Shingles in your hands.

7. Smooth up to the nape of the neck. Put the Shingles to one side. Withdraw the 2 Shingles under the shoulders and take it in your hands.

8. Alternated smoothing movements on the nape of the neck. Withdraw the Shingles. The 5th stays on the sternum.

9. Nape of the neck stretching : position the hands in a cradle-shape around the nape of the neck and take the base of the cranium with all fingers. Softly stretch.

10. Put the fingers in the Arnold hole and two others under the eyebrow, in the internal side of the eye. Realise a pressure stretching the neck. Withdraw the last Shingle.

Smear the whole body with PEACH RELAXING MASSAGE OIL. Wrap the client inside a warming blanket and let her relax during 20 minutes.

Dry with a towel and apply the PEACH HYDRATING BODY MILK or PEACH SUBLIMATIING BODY DRY OIL.



Result :

The silhouette is drawn again and the skin is tonic.
