We will use different background music in our documentary in order to emphasise meaning and emotions

Also for entertainment purposes

We will use this in our documentary when speaking to public, experts and youths we got this idea from Michael Jackson (plastic surgery channel 4 documentary)

We will show the different portrayal of wealthy youths

-IMAGES OF CELEBS- Paris Hilton, Kelly Osborne, Mary Kate Olsen and voice over of how they are drug users and its easier for them to access drugs due to the fact that they have the money, they know the people whereas lower class adolescents don't have connection to the strongest dugs like cocaine

(PRESENTER TALKING ABOUT THESE POINTS)-They turn to dugs( Paris Hilton) as they have easy access to it.- closed minded -Don’t know much about life whereas lower class s appreciate life more - ‘ rich commit crimes but less likely to get a lot of time in jail to how they have financial support from parents.

-End with how the media portrays youths very generally as there are cons and pros to being wealthy and being of lower class.

The view that youths play games all day

Youths are very revengeful: kill because they lost a game play

They only enjoy crime related games

They are easily influenced – they copy moves on WWE- death

We will show that generalising is wrong by:Showing youths that like to play other games

Show that some youths have other aspects to their life's apart from playing games

Youths have nothing going for them- they only hang around areas doing nothing and causing trouble(hoodrats)

Stereotype that lower class youths of ethnic minority- black are usually the cause of problems in London.

Also contrast by saying that its a positve thing that youths turn to games in their free time because that way they will be out of trouble

Contrast by showing that some youths are not violent and do things other than being on road-Private music lessons-Join school plays-Go to dancing lessons

Contrast again by showing higher class youths are also rebellious-Stuck up - they don’t value life as much-Rebel against parents

Youths usually semm Intimidating through body language which looks authoritative. Clothes-Hoodies- jeans below bum-Limping-Screwed face Usually have drink and alcohol in hand

Neeko -Baggy jeans-Trousers under bum-Lower class area View that youths who play these games are usually associated with violence. And when someone sees a youth dressed like this they would automatically fear them or police would stop and search

Therefore they seem more approaching and respectable

Upper class white youths are also play these games and some are as violent-The difference being most of them know the difference between reality and hyper reality -So they wouldn’t go killing someone

This image also represents these youths as quite and non rebellious youths

-Informal clothes is worn but still looks fun - therefore they are represented in a brighter light then youths from black ethnic backgrounds
