OUR 2019 PARTNER INCLUDE:

The DevOps India Summit 2019 is inching closer. We are only a few weeks away from it and we are extremely excited about it. After our first edition’s striking success, we were looking forward to host-ing it again!

We aim at creating a space for networking and knowledge exchange so that the young and expe-rienced, both benefit from this collaboration.

The summit is going to extend for 2 days. Each day is packed with talks and workshops that will change the way we look at DevOps and Cloud. We expect more than 500 professionals to turn up during the course of the event.

India’s Largest DevOps Conference Focusedon bringing together the DevOps Stalwarts and Practitioners under one roof!

The theme of the summit is: DevOps and Cloud – Collaboration for Business Success

We are most excited about this. We are looking forward to seeing thrilled faces in the audience as they learn how DevOps and Cloud together form a recipe for business success.

The audience will be able to get to know what others are doing in different domains, geographies, and organizations of different sizes. The speakers will be sharing their experience and telling us how they were successful in their DevOps initiatives.

It will also be interesting to gain knowledge about it from different stand points as our speakers hail from different backgrounds and demographics.

8:00 AM REGISTRATION

9:00 AM WELCOME AND OPENING REMARKS FROM XELLENTRO

Dr.Niladri Choudhuri, Founder CEO at Xellentro Consulting Services LLP

9:15 AM [KEYNOTE] Cloud, Culture & Continuous Everything – Build Your Own DevOps

Software has been eating the world for a while. Digital Transformation is talk

of the town. Traditional companies are transforming themselves into software

companies. DevOps and cloud have become mainstream ideas and are no longer

for the unicorns only. I have been deeply involved in an amazing transformation

at Capital One, USA, for the past several years.

In my talk, I will share some of my key learning along the journey. I will describe

how Cloud Technologies and DevOps Culture have played the most critical roles

in the transformation. I will also make a case as to why I believe that there is no

prescribed way of “doing DevOps” and how one should think about

“Building Your Own DevOps (BYOD)” focusing on Continuous Everything.

10:00 AM [KEYNOTE] Session by Gopinath Chigakkagari, Group Product Manager,

Microsoft for Azure DevOps product

10:45 AM Multi-Dimensional Professionals Powering Cloud & DevOps adoption

In this session, Dheeraj will explore emerging trends in Cloud & DevOps skills

modernization and fueling Digital Transformation. He will share the benchmarks,

and key insights from the first Upskilling: 2019 Enterprise DevOps Skills Report.

The fact based report was fielded by the DevOps Institute in partnership with

Industry Leaders - Electric Cloud and Cloudbees and is based on a detailed global

DevOps open community survey as well as interviews with several enterprise,

industry and hiring leaders.

3:15 PM NETWORKING BREAK

3:30 PM [KEYNOTE] Is Data Friction putting a crimp in your CI/CD flow?

The end goal of establishing a CI/CD pipeline is to achieve a continuous 'flow' of releases

as new features get built, integrated, tested and deployed to production-like non-prod

environments, and eventually to Production. This flow depends upon the continuous

integration and delivery of small batches of code, data schema and environment

changes. Data Friction results in the inability to have the right data being provisioned

to the right non-prod environment, when it is needed by the right practitioner, causing

the flow to be interrupted or at best slowed. Data Friction in turn, is caused due to the

time and cost it takes to provision test data sets to multiple dev and test environments

in a secure, compliant manner. Practitioners who manage and those who secure Data

need to be brought into the cross-functional teams of those who need Data, eliminating

these 'silos' and extending DevOps practices into the Data realm.

This session will go into client tested and proven methods and practices to address Data Friction in the

CI/CD pipeline, and show how to bring secure, compliant Data, on demand, to practitioners and achieve

CI/CD flow.

- Understand the impact of Data Friction on the CI/CD pipeline

- Understand the root causes of Data Friction

- Share proven best practices, with client success stories, addressing Data Friction in the CI/CD pipeline

- Understand the organizational change needed to scale adoption of best practices

4:15 PM [KEYNOTE] DevOps best practices for enterprises

Companies implement agile DevOps to respond quickly to business requirements and drive

innovation through digital transformation. CIOs struggle with mapping the value of

modernization of current systems to business advantage.

Join Rosalind Radcliffe, IBM Distinguished engineer, to discuss best practices in

transitioning to a DevOps mindset that is focused on reducing waste and delivering value.

One of the practices Rosalind will describe is the IBM DevOps transition workshop, offered

by IBM at no cost. Explore the design thinking methodology that can be used to help you

determine options and identify projects for modernizing your Mainframe software

development environment.

You will learn the steps involved and how to:

- Analyze your current Z Software delivery infrastructure

- Identify specific areas and processes that need to be modernized

- Develop a strategy to leverage new capabilities around mobile, cloud and open source tools

- Create an incremental plan to increase business responsiveness and reduce application

development by improving your architecture strategy

Rosalind will share her experience with actual customers to provide the real-world view of the

transformation as clients implement DevOps across multiple platforms in support of industry

leadership and driving business value.
