Objectives
Maharani's Science College for women is a premier institution imparting quality science education for girls from the past 75 years, housing all major science departments affiliated to Bangalore University managed by Department of Higher Education (Collegiate Education Section), Government of Karnataka. Presently the College offers 13 undergraduate and 05 post graduate programmes. College Caters to the need of higher education of large no. of rural students (women). College comes under 2(f) and 12(B) of UGC. The College is re-accredited with 'B' Grade by NAAC with a grade point average of 2.78. With over 1,100 students, from under graduate to post graduate studies, the campus is known for its salubrious atmosphere, heritage culture, excellence in teaching, high degree of discipline, deep mutual respect, abiding spirit of tolerance, strong appreciation for all cultures, deep reverence for all religions, intense attachment to ethical values, state of the art facilities, multiplicity of avenues for all round growth of the individual and efficient as well as enlightened administration, drawing appreciative accolades from the University as well as governmental bodies.
The Department of Chemistry was established in 1938 as the largest Department in the College providing both Under Graduate and Post Graduate courses. The department has well-equipped laboratories, Comprises of well qualified faculty members contributing to current arena of research. It offers an effective mechanism to address the unique opportunity to upgrade and rejuvenate faculty resources.

The latest and most prominent area of research in 21st century is Nanotechnology. Nanotechnology has made tremendous stride in the last decade, emerging first as a basic science and then as engineering discipline.
The National Conference on Advanced Nano technology and its Applications (NCOANA-2015) aims to bring together scientists from various disciples of nano technology and interact with specialists in other disciplines of sciences and exchange their ideas and views with special references to its latest advancement in the field. This will provide the facilities for networking and collaboration for accelerating the pace of research and development activities in this virgin area. In this regard the researchers , industry personnel, working professionals, acdemician, research scholars and students from institutions are invited to present their research papers in NCOANA-2015

We invite researchers and scientists from different streams to submit their work in the form of abstrct in the relevant theme for oral as well poster presentation to be
The abstracts to be presented should not have been previously published. Abstracts should be confined up to maximium 300 words with full title typed in the capital letters and centerd. The authors name and affilation with presenting author underlined should follow the title. Text of abstact should be in Times New Roman with font size 12 and single spacing in the word format. The posters will be displayed for one full day and the authors have to be present for discussions during the time specifed for poster sessions and evaluated by peers for the awards. There will be best three prizes for oral /poster presentation.
