REPORT OF NSS ACTIVITIES

The N.S.S Volunteers of Y. B. Chavan College of Pharmacy has been participated in several

activities during the year 2016-17.

The “Candle light freedom march Azadi 70” was conducted on14th

Aug. 2016 at

Dr. Rafiq Zakria Campus Aurangabad, and about 1000 volunteers have taken part in this

activity.

Mass Recitation of National Anthem (Azaadi 70 Yaad Karo Qurbani) was conducted on

23rd

Aug. 2016 at Dr. Rafiq Zakria Campus Aurangabad, and about 600 volunteers have

taken part in this activity.

Mass Reading of Indian constitution Day of India (Azaadi 70 Yaad Karo Qurbani) was

conducted on25th Nov.. 2016 at Dr. Rafiq Zakria Campus Aurangabad and about

200 volunteers have taken part in this activity.

The NSS volunteers of Y.B. Chavan College of Pharmacy had taken “Blood donation

camp” on 9th

Dec.2016 organized by Y.B. Chavan College of Pharmacy in co-ordination

with HDFC Bank In the camp all the NSS volunteers were participated and more than

450 candidates have participated in the camp.

The Cashless Awareness Drive was conducted on 13th

January 2017 at various places in

the Aurangabad city.

“Seminar on NSS activities” was conducted to motivate and provide guidelines and

responsibilities to be carried out during the NSS camp, by NSS program officers of

YBCCP on 22nd

Jan Oct. 2017at Y.B. Chavan College of Pharmacy, Aurangabad.

The 7 days NSS Camp was planned by Y.B. Chavan College of Pharmacy on 23rd

“Free eye check-up camp”

The “One days Free eye check-up camp” was conducted on 28th

Jan 2017organized by

Y.B. Chavan College of Pharmacy in co-ordination with APPLE EYE HOSPITAL. The

camp starts in the morning at 10:00 am to 5:00pm for day. The In the camp all the NSS

volunteers were participated and more than 80 contenders were examined.

At the beginning NSS programme officer Ansari Altamash welcomes the Apple Team and

enlightening the benefits of regular Eye checkup and camps proceeds. At the end of day

camp Dr. Imran Deshmukh from Apple Eye appreciate the efforts taken from college and

NSS volunteers for successful completion of free eye check up camp.

“Seminar on NSS activities”

“Seminar on NSS activities” was conducted to motivate and provide guidelines and

responsibilities to be carried out during the NSS camp, by NSS program officers of

YBCCP on 22nd

Jan. 2017 at Y.B. Chavan College of Pharmacy, Aurangabad.

Mr. Nikhil Sakle has given the guideline about the National Service Scheme.

Mr. Altamash Ansari talks on maintaining discipline and protocol of NSS. He has also

given the responsibilities to volunteers related to NSS camp and also talks and gives the

tips on the safety and protection of volunteers during the NSS activity.

Mrs. Barrawaz atika talk on awareness related to cleanliness and water conservation. She

also talks on women’s safety and personality development of volunteers

“Blood Donation Camp”

The NSS volunteers of Y.B. Chavan College of Pharmacy have planned a “Blood

Donation Camp” on 9th

Dec. 2017 in co-ordination with HDFC Bank. Principal

Dr. Zahid Zaheer had given the permission to conduct the blood donation camp in

College premises under his kind guidance and motivation. More than about 100 NSS

volunteers have taken part in this activity and about 100 people donated the blood in one

day.

Blood Donation camp starts with the first donation of blood from Mr. Nikhil Sakle who is

the NSS program officer at YBCCP. Dr. Maqdoom Farooqui and managers of HDFC

bank were also present for the camp.

Digital India /Cashless Awareness

The N.S.S. volunteers of Y.B.Chavan College of Pharmacy conducted and participated in Digital

India /Cashless Awareness drive they have made the awareness at the various palaces in the city.
