Organised four conferences and two workshops in last ten years.
Evaluation of dissertation work: Evaluated four doctoral
dissertations and many masters dissertations.
Reviewed the books of TMH Publishing Company Limited New Delhi
entitled: • Design of steel structures • Finite element Method •
Prestressed Concrete- third edition by N Krishna Raju
• Delivered lectures in different technical events for different
organizations. Lecture
delivered in the short term program of PRE-ENGINEERED BUILDINGS
was appreciated by the field engineers.
• During the teaching of course Prestressed Concrete Structures
I realized that analysis of end block in post tensioned prestressed
concrete member can be carried out using Finite Element Method
also. Therefore, I tried to perform this investigation and
successfully completed along-with the publications of four research
papers in different International and National conferences.
Alongwith the stress analysis of end block I suggested one equation
for calculation of Brusting tensile force also in which effect of
Poisson ratio is incorporated. This example shows the analytical
and research capability of the applicant.
