Dr. Marvelli holds rich experience in the field of Ophthalmology. Being a qualified eye doctor, he has good knowledge of all kinds of eye defects and disorders and their relevant treatments. He is a dedicated physician who takes excellent care of his patients.

Dr. Thomas has a rich career history. He has been a Resident in Internal Medicine at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics for two years i.e. 1978 to 1980. After that, he joined Loyola University Medical Center as the same position, and remained in it till 1981. In addition, his professional experience also includes a Resident in Ophthalmology (from 1981 to 1984) and a Fellow in Pediatric Ophthalmology (from 1984 to 1985) at Louisiana State University Eye Center (LSUEC).

Dr. Marvelli is a board certified ophthalmologist who holds an M.D. from the Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine, Maywood, IL. Prior to this, he completed his Bachelor of Science in Zoology/Chemistry from Eastern Illinois University in Charleston in 1975. While studying in this university, he won G.B. Dudley award for outstanding student in physical and life sciences. In addition, he also attended Galesburg Senior High School and Southern Illinois University.

He is an active member of Arlington Pediatric Society, American Academy of Ophthalmology, Kerato-Refractive Society, Contact Lens Association of Ophthalmologists, Texas Ophthalmology Association, Texas Medical Association, and American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. In addition, he also holds membership of Tarrant Country Medical Society, Tarrant County Ophthalmology Society, Arlington Medical Society, International Society of Refractive Keratoplasty, and Fort Worth Pediatric Society.
