www.hgdfoundation.org Meet Naphtalie! We first met Naphtalie right after the 2010 earthquake when her family lost their home and they found themselves displaced, with no where to go, tired and hopeless. Immediately after the quake, the HGD Foundation opened its land to 35 families to live temporarily on the premises in tents provided by our then partner, Doctors without Borders. This is how Naphtalie stole our hearts! Her warm and curious smile captured us! Naphtalie was quiet, reserved and stayed close to her mother and siblings. She was only 2 years old then, and barely spoke. Since then she has enrolled in her first preschool class at Ecole Village Lucina. This photo was taken on her first day of school-her enthusiasm and energy quickly ignited the classroom! Her teachers tell us she loves to participate in class and her favorite activity is blocks! We have seen a big difference in Naphtalie’s development and behavior: we are so proud of her!

Meet Naphtalie!

We first met Naphtalie right after the 2010 earthquake when her family lost their home and they found themselves displaced, with no where to go, tired and hopeless. Immediately after the quake,

the HGD Foundation opened its land to 35 families to live temporarily on the premises in tents provided by our then partner, Doctors without Borders.
