KIEIN phase IV aims at:• Carry out study to identify

Environmental Indicators most relevant to Kuwait.

• Developing advanced Web-based Tool for Environmental Indicators and Indices.

• Developing Decision Support Tool for Environmental Management.

Cooperation and Coordination The KIEIN project team would like to thank the cooperation and coordination of the following Institutes/Organization to date:• Ministry of Public Works• EPA / KIM Project team.• ROPME• KISR Divisions and Programs:

• Biodiversity program• Environment & Urban Development Division (EUD):

• Coastal & Air Pollution Department (CAD):• Kuwait National Meteorological Network (KNMN)

• Food Resources & Marine Science Division:• Agriculture, Fisheries & Marine Environmental Department

• Water Resources Division (WRD):• Hydrology Department

Page 25: Dr. Hamdy El-Gamily Dr. Nader Al-Awadhi Dr. Islam Abou El- Magd

Conclusion & Recommendation• KIEIN Geoenvironmental DB and

related applications could be utilized as a baseline information dissemination tool for HIMA imitative and related issues in Kuwait.

• It is strongly recommended to establish a Geoenvironmental Portal (similar to KIEIN) on the regional and international levels to share the knowledge, experience and information regarding the HIMA issue.
