To provide graduate and undergraduate courses in the arts, sciences, humanities and professional fields in agriculture, natural sciences, technology and other technical and professional courses and promote research, extension, agribusiness, advanced studies and progressive leadership in its fields of specialization.

In the next decade BSU will be:

an International Teaching and Research University recognized for the quality of its curricular programs and effectiveness of its research, outreach programs and agribusiness ventures with broad access provided through the innovative use of information technology
