The course contains information on how to manage illness and injuries in a child in the first few minutes until profes- sional help arrives. This workshop includes Child CPR, Infant CPR, Child Choking, Infant Choking Emergency Response Team members, Security personnel, Human Resources Personnel and Health- care Providers e.g. School Teachers, Childcare Providers, Nurses and Medical Professionals, Parents and Students are encouraged to attend this course. Dr. Abdul Ali is one of the founding Directors of the pioneer Academy of Paramedical Sciences at Cyber- jaya University College of Medical Sciences. He is a Clinical Emergency Medicine Specialist and formerly the Head and Chief Coordinator of Trauma & Emer- gency for over 10 years at the University of Malaya Medical Centre, Kuala Lumpur. He has over 22 years experience in developing and teaching the MBBS undergraduate Emergency Medicine Programme at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Malaya. He had also helped to develop various Advanced Trauma Resuscitation Courses, Disaster Management and EMS Programmes for various EMS Agencies in the country. He has contributed to books and journals and is a frequent presenter at many Universities, States, National and International EMS Conferences.
