For a reasonable amount of money, this business owner was able to project an appealing, new image.

This renovation involved: •removal of the wood panels to reveal the original prismatic glass;

By removing the clutter of additions, such as fire escape, vents, and blocked windows, the original openings were restored and

complemented with a new coat of paint, sign and lighting.

Stripping away the ill-conceived, low-quality modernization, the original storefront and transom windows were revealed.

Rebuilding the storefront cornice provided an appropriate sign area.

The storefront colors are carried out through all building trim, reinstating the facade’s integrity.

This recent Moody Street upgrade shows how quality materials and fewer words can make a much bigger impact.

By repainting the facade and adding an awning over the door to both conceal the air conditioning unit as well as highlight the entrance, this storefront was improved with very few dollars.

Inexpensive flower planters helped frame the entrance.

Window lettering, as well as a new sign panel, conveyed all the necessary information.

Removal of upper-floor siding and re-installation of the lower-floor openings helped boost the image

and name of this business.

By adding vertical piers to frame new window units, this building facade was transformed into an elegant storefront.

A subtle color scheme highlights simple cornice brickwork.

The sign fits the building’s proportions.

The new windows have a divided light layout that aligns with other building elements to provide order to the facade.

Entrance awning and lighting completes the image.

Simple changes can be dramatic. Here, an entrance was transformed by simply choosing an attractive color scheme of three colors

to highlight the beautiful ornamental ironwork that existed.
