Easter 2015. They’re coming!Easter is perhaps one of my favourite holidays. It seems to be the first true call of Spring as we begin to shed the hibernation of winter. It’s the traditions of Easter as well that are something to look forward to in Spring; we indulge in a traditional menu of favourite recipes and desserts and look forward to the smiles and joys of young friends as they feverishly search for foil wrapped eggs and revel in the colourful pastel decorations of the season.

At retail, Easter provides a special call to action as we help our communities transition into the changing seasons. We do this by moving window displays from the dark colours of winter to the refreshing signs of Spring and prompting people to look forward to the next exciting event and time to be together. It’s also a cause to re-ignite the hustle and the bustle of the kitchen as we prepare to welcome people into our homes and to offer them the special

foods and drinks of the season.

So, let’s celebrate the flavours of the season and help usher your community into the fresh air that comes with Spring and the wonderful occasions that bring thanks, love and togetherness to tables all across our country.

London Breakfast

This bright and lively Fairtrade Breakfast tea is a blend of rich malty Assam grown on the banks of the Brahmaputra River in Northern India and a flavoury Kenyan tea grown by smallholder farmers in the highlands to the west of the Rift Valley. This makes for the perfect breakfast brew an ideal way to start your day.

Earl Grey

A blend of bright and flavoury Fairtrade

teas from Ceylon and the Nilgiris in South India. Nilgiri means Blue Mountain and is the dividing ridge which runs north-south between Kerala (to the West) and Tamil Nadu. To this, we have added natural bergamot to give the blend a refreshing citrus aroma.

Tropical Green Tea

Our Fairtrade Sencha is a steamed pure green tea, renowned for its clean fresh flavour. To this we have added the delicious

tropical flavours of pineapple, passionfruit and mango.

Vanilla Chai

We have taken a high quality second flush Fairtrade Assam, grown on the banks of the Brahmaputra River, and the spices traditionally used to make an Indian Masala Chai and blended them together with creamy vanilla to create a thick and rich brew. Spices include ginger, cinnamon, cloves and pepper.

Mrs. Bridge’s Banoffee Hazelnut CheesecakeServes 8Ingredients150 g digestive biscuits, crushed50 g unsalted butter, melted600 g cream cheese50 g caster sugar170 gm Mrs Bridges Banoffee Curd¼ cup crushed hazelnuts200 ml whipping creamWhipped Cream and orange rind for decoration

Preparation1. Mix the crushed biscuits with the melted butter and press into the base of a lightly greased 20cm loose based cake tin. Chill.2. Beat together the cream cheese, sugar, Mrs. Bridges Banoffee.3. Whip the cream to a stiff hold. Fold into the cream cheese mixture.4. Spoon over the base and level the top. Chill for 3-4 hours or overnight.5. Before serving, decorate with whipped cream and crushed hazelnuts.

Roasted Vegetables with Mrs. Bridge’s Port Wine Jelly GlazeIngredients for glaze: 4 tbsp Mrs. Bridges Port Wine Jelly2 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil11/2 tbsp Aged Balsamic ( with low acidity)3-4 sprigs ThymeCracked black pepper (to taste)Sea Salt (to taste)

Combine the Mrs. Bridges Port Wine Jelly, olive oil and aged balsamic into a sauce pan. Heat on low-medium heat and stir until all ingredients are combined and the viscosity is consistent throughout. Add thyme, cracked black papper and sea salt. Leave on low heat for 2-3 minutes. Remove and drizzle over vegetables before roasting.

DTC TERMS & CONDITIONS OF SALE FOR NON PRE-BOOK ITEMS

Opening Orders: All new accounts must complete a new account form prior to the initial order being shipped.

Terms: opening Orders are shipped C.O.D. certified cheque or credit card payment at time of shipping. After two orders, terms can be established by filling out a credit application. Please contact our office or your dovetale representative to receive the proper form. We accept both Visa and Mastercard. Terms for all customers with dishonoured cheques will revert to C.O.D. certified cheque/credit card payment for a one year period.

Minimum Order: The minimum opening order is $500.00. Minimum re-order is $150.00.

Back orders: All back orders for less than $150.00 will automatically be cancelled. Orders placed for new lines pending arrival will be held until arrival of product. Customers may request a split shipment and regular freight terms will apply.

Split cases: Goods must be ordered in full cases or displays.

Shipping: Orders are shipped by Fedex for small parcels or APEX LTL for heavy or larger pallet orders. A fixed freight/handling charge of 3% of the invoice value on orders over $1000.00 will be applied to all orders shipped to the ten provinces in Canada. Tailgate charges will be applied to those customers who require the use of a tailgate and/or inside delivery. Dove Tale Collections reserves the right to select the most economical method of shipment. Full freight charges will apply to orders under $1000.00.

Damages/Discrepancies: Any issues concerning the condition of merchandise received must be reported to head office within 10 days of receipt of goods. No claims received after 10 days will be permitted.

Inventory Control: It is the responsibility of the retailer to maintain proper inventory control and to rotate product on their shelves. Credit will not be issued for goods which have passed the best before code which were received by the customer more than 3 months previous. Goods are not supplied on a sale or return basis

Shelf Life: Shelf life on products varies from 3 months to 24 months. Goods shipped will always have a minimum of 3 months shelf life unless it is a short shelf life item as listed in the catalogue. Any exceptions will be discussed with the customer prior to shipping.

1. Merchandise from both the Spring Collection and the everyday Dove Tale Collections catalogue is available for pre-book and may be written on the same order

2. Spring pre-book orders received are considered final and confirmed

3. Pre-book options are available only to customers in good credit standing

4. New customers and customers who have not yet established credit may take advantage of any discounts available, but will be billed by credit card at time of shipping or on agreed COD payment terms.

5. Should you wish to add to your pre-book order, please contact your local sales agent. Please note that add-on orders will be billed separately and will be subject to our standard terms and conditions.

6. Pre-book orders must ship in one delivery and cannot be divided.

Inside delivery of palletized shipments for customers without a receiving dock is available from the delivery company for a charge of $35.00.
