Thank you to Nanaimo Mountain Bike Club for their dedication to trail development and maintenance, as well as for their collaboration on this project. The Nanaimo Area Called one of the most exceptional pump tracks in Canada, the Stevie Smith Bike Park is an excellent way to get in a ride when time is short, try out a new technique, or watch other riders as they practice – and show off – their skills. A tribute to a hometown hero and fallen Canadian World Cup winner, this park features everything there is to love about riding, right in the middle of the city at Beban Park. Expert riders can test their skills and show off their abilities on the twists and turns of this high energy track, while newer riders can learn to create momentum, navigate the bumps and jumps, and develop the skills to become better trail riders and XC experts. Pump and jump your way around the park, riding the rock drops and big ramps, tabletops and multiple doubles, or hang out with the other riders between runs, catching up and swapping stories about the fastest runs, biggest drops, and best bails. The energy, excitement, and raw talent of the MTB world surrounds you at the Stevie Smith Bike Park, a perfect memorial for a world-class rider. #LongLiveChainsaw Stevie Smith Bike Park YOU ARE IN AN ACTIVE WORKING FOREST, PLEASE RESPECT CLOSURES FOR OPERATIONAL ACTIVITIES TRAIL ETIQUETTE • Leave no trace • Respect the land and the wildlife • Plan ahead • Yield to hikers and slower riders (unless otherwise indicated on trail) EASY TRAIL INTERMEDIATE TRAIL ADVANCED TRAIL EXPERT TRAIL ROAD PARKING LOT NMBC MANAGED AREA
