INSTANT HELP

2-1-1 is a free, confidential referral and information hotline that connects people from all

communities and of all ages to essential health and human

services they need, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Simply dial 2-1-1 from any landline or cell phone and find help. This service is provided by United Way Alliance of the Mid-Ohio Valley.

The Wood County Family Resource Network is a community organization charged with service coordination, needs and resource assessment,

planning, community mobilization and evaluation, and has met the FRN criteria established by the WV Legislature.

The FRN does not provide direct service, but assists in improving services by reducing duplication, promoting prevention, streamlining service delivery,

and serving as a clearinghouse for information.

The Wood County FRN’s mission is to assist Wood County families, individuals, businesses, and community agencies to coordinate and plan the

use of the community’s resources in order to best meet the needs of Wood County residents.
