DOING YOUR MSA LICENCE ONLINE – A STEP BY STEP GUIDE:

Before starting please ensure that you have Google Chrome or Mozilla Fire Fox installed as your default

internet browser.

Go to www.msaonline.co.za

Welcome Screen

New Users will need to register by clicking on the register icon which is located at the top of the page.

Enter your ID number

Enter your email address

Click the “Register Icon”

A confirmation of your registration will now pop up on your screen:

MSA will now automatically send you an email confirming your registration on the online system. This

email will also contain your temp password which will enable you to login to the online licensing.

Please double check your email and junk folder should this email not be received.

Old users can access the online system by simply entering your identification number and password to

login.

Forgot your password?

1. Click on the Forgot your password icon and enter your user ID. 2. Provide us with your identification number and email details 3. We'll send you an email (immediately in most cases) with a link which you can click to reset your

password. In the event that the email is not received, please contact us on 011-466-2440 in order for us to do a manual reset of your password or alternatively send us an email which includes your ID Number to [email protected]

Once logged in to the online system, you will note that there is a To Do List on the screen.

Click on Change Password and enter your new details and click on the “update button”

Click on “Personal Information” – enter your details

Click on “update” and then click on “Contact information” and enter your details

Click on “update” and then click on “club information” and enter your details.

Once you have finished updating all your details please click on the “dashboard icon” which is located

top left corner of your screen. Take note once you complete a task on the do list the cross falls away

and a green icon appears to indicate that the details have been successfully updated.

Now click on “Medical Declaration”:

Please read carefully and click on any of the two options that are applicable:

I Declare I am medically fit to participate in motorsport

I am not medically fit and need to declare medical problems

Once you have declared that you are medically fit a pop screen will appear notifying you as the user that

you may continue with your licence purchase!

You will now be redirected to the “To do list”, please click on the “Idemnity option”, read and study the

content of the indemnity carefully and click on the icon which states “Every competitor agrees to all

declarations and undertakings of the above”, which is located on the bottom of the page, then click

accept indemnity.

You have now successfully completed your to do list and the option to purchase a licence online is now

available, now click on purchase new.

The Purchase new licence Wizard will now load on to your screen, do the following:

Select your licence type

Club

Regional

National

Select your Category

4x4 X Track Racing

Circuit Historic

Circuit Motorcycle (This includes Supermoto)

Circuit Saloon Cars

Circuit Single Seater

Drag Racing Motorcycle

Drag Racing Cars

Drifting

Hill Climb / Rally Sprint

Junior Non Circuit Motorcycles and Quads (This includes MX andTrials)

Karting

Non Circuit Motorcycles and Quads (This includes MX and Trials)

Off Road Car

Oval Tar

Rallying

Spinning

Once you have selected both options, please click next – Note the pricing of the licence will be visible at

the top of your screen:

After clicking “next”, you will note that you have been redirected to the Insurance page, please select

your “insurance option”. Once you have made selection you will note that the pricing will appear on the

top of the screen.

Now Select your accessories:

GCR Handbook

Environmental Mats

Motorsport CD

After making your selection, click “next” and please indicate your delivery and collection option, click

next and click the “finish icon” which is located at the bottom of your screen.

A summary of your shopping cart will now appear:

Please click on the payment option which you would like to use:

Credit Card

Once you have selected the credit card option, you will now need to enter the details and

confirm the payment. Once the payment has been confirmed a temp licence will be sent to

your registered email account immediately.

EFT

When selecting the electronic transfer option a pop screen, will appear with the balance due

and banking details for Motorsport South Africa . Please fax your "Proof of Payment" -

Attention: Licences to 086-6123462 or email [email protected]

Please use your Identity Number for your Beneficiary Reference.

Please contact MSA after 48 hours from, when the payment was made. a Temp licence will be

mailed to your registered email address, once proof of payment has been confirmed by our

accounts department.
