General Principles• Design does not come at the end; it comes at

the beginning, right from the start.

CONTRAST• It simply means difference

• One of the most powerful design concepts because any design element can be contrasted with one another

REPETITIONIt’s all about unity, consistency,

and cohesiveness!

ALIGNMENTNothing should be placed randomly.

Slides that contain elements in alignment look cleaner.

PROXIMITY• It’s about moving things close or farther apart

to achieve a more organized look.

• Do not want to make audiences “think.” That is do not make them think about the wrong stuff, like trying to decipher your slide’s organization and design priority.
