You will be expected to: Supervise and support people with learning disabilities who are participating in

various training and/or work experience programmes Work as part of a great team delivering fantastic customer service Help to create and maintain high standards Interact with the general public and other interested parties, maintaining a

professional image and representing No Limits positively Respond to the needs of individuals in a respectful and empathic way whilst

protecting their dignity and self-esteem Attend training as required Uphold No Limits’ policies and procedures

Key knowledge, skills and experience: Energy, creativity and enthusiasm with a good standard of education and

organisational skills. Café and or/catering experience is useful but not essential. Support work or similar experience with people with additional needs. A willingness to learn and engage with people with additional needs. A Commitment to the work and ethos of our CIC and the ability to

motivate, enable and empower individuals

The Job ContextThe social purpose of No Limits Community Café & Hub is to provide opportunities for people with learning disabilities to develop employability skills in a real workplace surrounded by other working people. A further goal is to support and educate the public regarding persons with learning disabilities, particularly in the workplace. As No Limits Community Café & Hub is a Community Interest Company, all profits will be reinvested into the business to achieve our mission. Our mission is to establish a Community Cafe & Hub where young people with additional needs learn new skills, gain work experience & are supported in their transition to work and a more independent adult life. We aim to achieve this with: Engagement, enablement, opportunity and progression Community presence The development of meaningful roles Co-operation with other organisations that share our aims and objectives
