Abstract. Title of the study: "" The degree of effectiveness of
the performance of the UNRWAS school head teachers of the
governorates of Gaza, in the light of modern management technology
and ways of development " Name of researcher : Hisham Hamed
Abdel-Razek Abu Sharikh Supervised By: Dr. Mohammed Osman Aghaa The
current study aimed to identify the degree of effectiveness of the
functioning of the UNRWAS schools head teachers of the governorates
of Gaza, in the light of modern technology and means of
administrative development, and aimed to reveal whether there are
differences in the degree of performance attributable to the study
variables of sex, level of education, specialization, years of
service, and the researcher used a valuable way of achieving those
goals descriptive analytical approach to the relevance of such
studies to describe the phenomenon, the subject of the study and
analysis of data and the statement of the relationship between the
components. The community of study consist of all UNRWAS schools
head teachers of the governorates of Gaza which they are () head
teachers of the academic year . To achieve the objectives of the
study the researcher prepared questionnaire addressed to the head
teachers of UNRWAs schools in the governorates of Gaza, which
included the questionnaire () items distributed to the three areas
(area of cognitive, technical, social). Questionnaire was applied
to a sample of an exploratory () head teachers from the community
of study in order to ascertain the validity and stability of the
instrument, the sample was excluded from the exploratory study and
the designated community in the final application of the tool.
Actual sample included all head teachers of the () head teachers of
the sample after the exclusion of members of the reconnaissance,
where the tool was applied to all members of the actual sample was
recovered () which represents () of the total community of study.
The results were analyzed and unloading of data through the use of
the SPSS.
After analyzing the statistical data the study yielded the
following results: - The degree of effectiveness of the performance
of UNRWAS schools head teachers in the light of modern management
technology available with a good degree of overall availability ()
and this is a good rate and the areas of questionnaire has got the
following relative weights of the cognitive () and technical (),
social (). - There is no statistically significant differences at
the level of ( ) between the average ratings of members of the
sample to the extent that the performance of UNRWAS schools head
teachers of the international relief agency in the light of modern
management technology due to changing sex and in the following
areas: (area of cognitive, the social sphere), and in the total
level of questionnaire, while there are differences in the
technical field in favor of males. - There are no significant
differences at the level of statistical significance ( ) between
the average ratings of members of the sample to the extent that the
performance of UNRWAS schools head teachers of the international
relief agency in the light of modern management technology due to
the changing education and changing of specialization, and the
variable of years of service, in all areas of the questionnaire and
in the total level of the questionnaire. In the light of these
results the researcher suggested the following recommendations: .
Holding life-long training sessions for head teachers to enhance
the technical and administrative competence and the face of future
developments, especially in the relationship with the local
community, as well as raise the competence in the areas of staff
development in school and modern educational techniques. . Focus on
improving the administrative processes within the school and in
particular the planning, organization, direction and communication
by using modern management methods, such as the method of systems
analysis, strategic planning. . Activate the use of computers in
the planning process by working on the design of a clear database
and, and sophisticated information systems, linking them through a
network of information to all schools. . Support the community in
general and parents in particular to the school and show a
significant response and support plans, programs and school
activities and to establish channels of communication between
management and the local community and benefit from the experience
and represent programs targeted by the school to serve the local
community as seminar, lectures and benefit the local community from
schools facilities as library, sports stadiums and computer
laboratory.
