Abstract
This document contains the minutes of the IEEE 802.22 Working Group 2013 Septermber Interim Meeting held in Nanjing, China from 16th September 2013 to 19th September 2013.
16 th Sep Monday PM1 (WG Opening Plenary) Acting chairman Dr Pyo called the meeting to order at 1:35 PM EST. 4 people were in the room at the opening of the session.
Zhang Xin from NICT joined from teleconference.

17 th Sep Tuesday AM1 - 802.22 Revision PAR, New PAR Ideas and Call for Interest
1. The meeting was called to order by Chair Dr Mody at 0800 AM.
2. Chair reminded everyone to mark attendance.
3. The meeting minute as contained in document 22-13-137-01-000b was reviewed.
4. “802.22 Revision PAR” (22-13-0138-01-000b) was presented and reviewed.
5. 1900.6-2011 standard was reviewed.
The following motion was proposed during the session.
Motion – 802.22 REVISION PAR and 5C – Approval to submit to EC and make subsequent modifications
Move to approve the contents of the document:22-13-0138Rev1 (802.22 Revision PAR) https://mentor.ieee.org/802.22/dcn/13/22-13-0138-01-0000-802-22-revision-par.docx as the contents of the P802.22 Revision PAR to be forwarded to the IEEE 802 EC. To allow the Chair to make a motion during the November Closing EC Meeting seeking approval to submit the PAR form to IEEE SA NESCOM. To allow the Chair to make subsequent submission of the PAR form to the IEEE SA NESCOM upon its approval from the EC. To allow the Chair to make the necessary changes to the PAR form at his discretion based on the comments from IEEE 802 EC or the IEEE SA NESCOM members and submit the revised PAR to the NESCOM. 17 th September Tuesday AM2 - - P802.22b Enhancements for Broadband Services and Monitoring Applications
1. The meeting was called to order by Chair at 1030 AM.
3. The patent policy was read out as well as the Title, PAR and Purpose of 802.22b task group.
4. The agenda as contained in 22-13-0144-00-000b for the coming week was reviewed.
The following motion was proposed to approve the agenda.

No objection was heard. Motion passed.
5. Achievements in July meeting were reviewed. During the previous face-to-face meeting, 9 technical
contributions were received and presented. 4 were from PHY layer and 5 were from MAC layer. After
the face-to-face meeting, 3 teleconferences were held.
6. The timeline for creating draft document was reviewed and our current progress was shown to be on
schedule.
7. Chair reviewed the face-to-face meeting minute as well as the teleconference minutes.

8. Review of teleconference meetings. There were total 3 teleconferences conducted between July and
