• Essential Question: What is the proper role of government in shaping a society?

• Activity: (Visual Discovery) Students analyze images of three events: the Revolution, Shays’ Rebellion, and the signing of the Constitution. Students watch a short video as 55 men bring to life the signing.

• Processing: Students will create a Pictoword that represents what the word CONSTITUTION means to him or her.
