DIY Straw Pan Flute Materials STEPS 8 straws Ruler (cm) Scissors Marker Masking tape 1. Use a ruler and marker to mark cutting points on the 8 straws as follows: 19.5 cm, 17 cm, 15.5 cm, 14.5 cm, 13 cm, 11.5 cm, 10 cm, 9.5 cm 1. Use scissors to cut each straw at the measured mark, saving the leftover pieces of straw 2. Arrange the 8 cut straws from longest to shortest, inserting pieces of leftover straw in between the main straws to act as spacers 3. Wrap a piece of tape across the front and back of the straws and spacers to bind them together 4. Blow across the top of the pipes! Can you play a scale on your pan flute?
