8:30 am Mass Entrance Alleluia, Alleluia! Hearts to Heaven and Voices Raise 1. Alleluia, alleluia! Hearts to heaven and voices raise: sing to God a hymn of gladness, sing to God a hymn of praise. He, who on the cross a vic m, for the world's salva on bled, Jesus Christ, the King of glory, now is risen from the dead. 2. Now the iron bars are broken,

Christ from death to life is born, glorious life, and life immortal, on this holy Easter morn. Christ has triumphed, and we conquer by his mighty enterprise: we with him to life eternal by his resurrec on rise. 3. Christ is risen, Christ, the first fruits of the holy harvest field, which will all its full abundance at his second coming yield: then the golden ears of harvest will their heads before him wave, ripened by his glorious sunshine from the furrows of the grave. 4. Christ is risen, we are risen! Shed upon us heavenly grace, rain and dew and gleams of glory from the brightness of thy face; That, we with our hearts in heaven, here on earth may frui ul be, and by angel hands be gathered, and be ever, Lord, with thee. 5. Alleluia, alleluia! Glory be to God on high; Alleluia! to the Savior who has gained the victory; Alleluia! to the Spirit, fount of love and sanc ty: Alleluia, alleluia! to the Triune Majesty. By: C. Family Prayer

L oving and faithful God, through the years the people of our archdi-ocese have appreciated the pray-

ers and love of Our Lady of Prompt Suc-cor in times of war, disaster, epidemic and illness. We come to you, Father, with Mary our Mother, and ask you to help us in the battle of today against violence, murder and racism.

We implore you to give us your wisdom that we may build a community founded on the values of Jesus, which gives re-spect to the life and dignity of all people.

Bless parents that they may form their children in faith. Bless and protect our youth that they may be peacemakers of our time. Give consolation to those who have lost loved ones through violence.

Hear our prayer and give us the persever-ance to be a voice for life and human dignity in our community.

We ask this through Christ our Lord.

Our Lady of Prompt Succor, hasten to help us.

Mother Henriette Delille, pray for us that we may be a holy family.

Communion Christ Is Risen 1. Let no one caught in sin remain inside the lie of inward shame, but fix our eyes upon the cross, and run to Him who showed great love and bled for us, freely You've bled for us. Refrain Christ is risen from the dead, trampling over death by death come awake, come awake, come and rise up from the grave. Christ is risen from the dead, we are one with Him again come awake, come awake, come and rise up from the grave. 2. Beneath the weight of all our sin, You bowed to none but heaven's will; No scheme of hell, no scoffer's crown, no burden great can hold You down. In strength You reign;

Forever let Your church proclaim. Bridge O death, where is your s ng? O hell, where is your victory? O church, come stand in the light; The glory of God has defeated the night. Singing: O death, where is your s ng? O hell, where is your victory? O church come stand in the light; Our God is not dead. He's alive, He's alive. (to refrain…) By: M. Maher; M. Fieldes © 2009. Sending Forth Resurrec on Day 1. It's the weight of Your glory, brings the proud to their knees, and the light of revela on, lets the blind man see. It's the power of the cross, breaks away death's embrace, and we celebrate our freedom, dancing on an empty grave. Roll away the stone, roll away the stone. Refrain We sing for joy, we shout Your name, we celebrate Your resurrec on day. We sing for joy, we shout Your name, we celebrate Your resurrec on day. 2. You declare what is holy, You declare what is good, in the sight of all the na ons, You declare that You are God. It's the power in Your blood, breaks away sin's embrace, and we celebrate our freedom dancing on our broken chains. Roll away the stone, roll away the stone. (to refrain…2X) By: M. Maher © 2005. “God exists: that is the real message of Easter. Anyone who even begins to grasp what this means also knows what it means to be redeemed.” Po-pe Benedict XVl

After forty days of preparation, the great day has come, “Christ is Risen!” No words can adequately express the meaning of this mystery, and yet it is also a reality. The stone has been overturned, His body is missing despite the presence of guards. On the evening of that day He appears to those gathe-red in the upper room cowering in fear that they will be dealt the same fate that He was on the pre-vious Friday. He greets them with words of peace and shows His wounds to the unbelievers. Glory be to God that He has opened the door to heaven and if we are faithful to Him in this life, we are all as-sured of eternal life with Him. All glory be to God, Alleluia!

Registration for Adult Volunteers

We now have the dates for Vacation Bible School set! This summer, VBS will run from Monday, July 9th-Friday, July 13th. VBS is a summer camp program that includes daily scripture review and activities about how God plays a role in our lives. This year’s theme, “Parade Around the Our Father,” where we learn about different Saints and also themes of Eucharist, Prayer, and Forgiveness, while also still making time to have fun.

Registration for Adult Volunteers (college-aged and older) has begun. Adult volunteers are necessary for Vacation Bible School to run smoothly, be organized, and most importantly, for the children to have fun and be safe. For any adults college-aged or older who enjoy working with children, are interested in pursuing a teaching or ministry career, or who may have children or relatives who would like to sign up as a camper or volunteer, this is for you.

Campers are Kindergarten-6th grade, while we are in-viting 7th-12th graders to serve as junior and teen vol-unteers. Registration for campers and teen volunteers will begin in mid-April.

Anyone who is interested in volunteering and serving at VBS, you may either print out the appropriate form from website, or sign up in back of church after Mass and bring forms back to the Church Office. There will be an information meeting for a chance to learn more, and also to meet and ask any questions so you can be supported. Please sign up soon, as we are trying to get as many adult volunteers as we need before Camper Registration starts. You may contact: Jacques De-louche or Ryan Foulon at the Church for questions. Thank you very much and hope to see many of you on this thrilling experience. God Bless You.

Everyone at Divine Mercy Parish LIFE TEEN and Edge ministries wishes you a joyful Easter! Today as we celebrate Christ’s victory over death, we agree with the LIFE TEEN author that through the like Jesus we are “Able to defeat death (by) com-plete obedience to the will of God.” We invite you to join us for a LIFE TEEN or Edge event as we ex-plore the truths of our wonderful Catholic faith!

"Papa Benedicto XVl.

Act of Spiritual Communion My Jesus, I believe that You are in the Blessed Sacrament. I love You above all things, and I long for You in my soul. Since I cannot now receive You sacramentally, come at least spiritually into my heart. As though You have already come, I embrace You and unite myself en-tirely to You; never permit me to be separated from You.
