Divine encounter

•3 And Joshua rose early in the morning; and they removed from Shittim, and came to Jordan, he and all the children of Israel, and lodged there before they passed over.• 2 And it came to pass after three days, that the officers went through the host;

•3 And they commanded the people, saying, When ye see the ark of the covenant of the LORD your God, and the priests the Levites bearing it, then ye shall remove from your place, and go after it.

•4 Yet there shall be a space between you and it, about two thousand cubits by measure: come not near unto it, that ye may know the way by which ye must go: for ye have not passed this way heretofore.

•5 And Joshua said unto the people, Sanctify yourselves: for to morrow the LORD will do wonders among you.

•The number 15 in the Bible pictures rest, which comes after deliverance, represented by fourteen.

•The 15th day of the first Hebrew month (Nisan) is the first day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread, a day of rest.

•The 15th day of the 7th Hebrew month begins the Feast of Tabernacles, also a day of rest.

•After dying on the cross, Jesus' body is placed in a Garden Tomb as the sun was setting to begin Nisan 15 in 30 A.D. (Matthew 27:57 - 61, Luke 23:50 - 55, John 19:38 - 42).

•King Hezekiah, who was sick and dying, got 15 yrs added to his life (15 - see 2Kings 20:1 - 6).

•15 is the number of rest & relaxation, also the number of life and resurrection

•“If we have not seen Jesus in our worship, we have wasted it”

•“If we can see the cross, we can make it home”

•3 dimension wasted worship

•Having a good eye on your-self.•Having a bad eye on your neighbor•Having no eye on God

•God appears & renews covenant

•People are revived and have a new purpose

• It gives room to the fulfilment of God’s promise & power

•Genesis 35:11-13•11 And God said to him, “I am God Almighty[f]; be fruitful and increase in number. A nation and a community of nations will come from you, and kings will be among your descendants. 

•12 The land I gave to Abraham and Isaac I also give to you, and I will give this land to your descendants after you.” 13 Then God went up from him at the place where he had talked with him. (God appeared to him and renewed the covenant)

•2 That Hanani, one of my brethren, came, he and certain men of Judah; and I asked them concerning the Jews that had escaped, which were left of the captivity, and concerning Jerusalem.

• 3 And they said unto me, The remnant that are left of the captivity there in the province are in great affliction and reproach: the wall of Jerusalem also is broken down, and the gates thereof are burned with fire.

• 4 And it came to pass, when I heard these words, that I sat down and wept, and mourned certain days, and fasted, and prayed before the God of heaven, (Neh. 1:1-4)

•14 But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judaea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words:

•15 For these are not drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it is but the third hour of the day.•16 But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel;

•18 And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:•19 And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke:

• Consecration yields 3 levels of salvation

• In Genesis – house hold salvation

• In Nehemiah – Generational salvation

• In Acts – national & international salvation

•Desperation & danger – Genesis.

•Bad news & purpose –

Nehemiah.

•Powerlessness – Acts.

•God appeared to Abram – He became the father of all nations.

•God appears to Noah – He received passion for his divine assignment.

•God Appeared to Moses – He became the most renowned deliverer.

•God appeared to Gideon – He became the mighty man of valor.

•God appeared to Isaiah – He received a great commission

•God appeared to Mary – She became carrier of the Christ child.
