1 District Sustainability Council News M arch 2019 CONGRATULATIONS! The District's Sustainability Council would like to recognize the following Schools for having reduced their annual combined electric and natural gas energy use year to date (July 2018 through December 2018) compared to the same time period the previous year. These savings were achieved at a time when we had 17.37% more heating and cooling degree days. Although we cannot control Mother Nature, it is apparent our focus on energy efficiency improvements, logistically scheduling summer programs, and behavior changes all have a positive impact. Thank you for all of your efforts.
