Our annual school-parent compact offers ways that we can work to-gether to help our students suc-ceed. This compact provides strat-egies to help connect learning at school and at home.

What is a School-Parent Compact?
The parents, community members and staff worked together and shared ideas to develop the school-parent compact. Site Based Decision Making Committee meetings are held each year to review and revise the compact based on the school’s academic achievement goals and stu-dents’ needs.
Parents are welcome to provide feed-back at any time. All feedback will be collected and reviewed during the annual revision meeting with par-ents.

Qué es un Contrato Escuela-Casa?
Nuestro contrato anual escuela-casa ofrece maneras en que podemos tra-bajar juntos para ayudar a nuestros estudiantes a tener éxito. Este contra-to provee estrategias para ayudar a conectar el aprendizaje en la escuela y en casa. Los contratos efectivos: • Se enlazan a metas de logro
académico. • Se enfocan en aprendizaje
del estudiante • Comparten estrategias que
el plantel, los padres y estudiantes pueden usar.
• Explica cómo los maestros y
pa-dres se comunicarán el progreso del estudiante.
• Describe oportunidades para que
los padres observen, sean volunta-
rios y participen en el salón.

Los padres, miembros de la comuni-dad y el plantel trabajaron juntos y compartieron ideas para desarrollar el contrato escuela-padres. El comité de decisiones de la escuela se reúne cada año para revisar y mejorar el contrato basados en las metas académicas de la escuela y las necesidades de los estudiantes.
Los padres pueden proveer retroali-mentación en cualquier momento. Éste se reunirá y revisará durante la junta anual de revisión con padres.
