Statement of Purpose/Roles and Responsibilities

Boyd ISD Board policy is located on line at http://www.tasb.org/policy/pol/private/249902/

The specific policy that governs this committee is BQA, both local and legal.

In compliance with Education Code 11.251, the District-Level Committee shall Advise Superintendent on establishing and reviewing the District's educational goals and objectives,District wide classroom instructional programsServe exclusively in an advisory role Approve staff development of a District wide nature.

Guidelines

• District’s must publish in the format provided by the TEA the district’s Texas Academic Performance Report (TAPR) in conjunction with Campus Performance Objectives, Report of violent or criminal incidents, and information received from the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board for each high school campus.
