THE RIGHT HAND

Use a high wri,l: "reh your pa lm ", if YOL l were holding a ping-pone ball. Keep rb c thumb outside nr-d

awny frum the fingers. and let the fingers do the work rather than lifting yOUT whole hand

The thumh generally pluck, the horrom strings With downstrokes on the left side uf the thumb and

thumbnail. The other fingers pluck the higher srnngs using upstokes with rho flcshv til' of the' fingers and

fingern:lih. The thumb end fingers should pluck one strmg per stroke and nor hru;;h over sevcr,,) ,;nings

Another picking option you may choose to usc is cnlled hybrid picking (a.k.c. plecrfllm-style fingcrpick-
