5910 Disk Boot Failure Issue If you get a screen saying ‘Disk boot failure, insert system disk and press enter’, follow the below instructions. 1. Disconnect all devices from the back of the tower unit including the mains power cable and make sure the rocker switch is turned off with the ‘0’ position pressed in. 2. 5910 Disk Boot Failure Issue If you get a screen saying ‘Disk boot failure, insert system disk and press enter’, follow the below instructions.

1. Disconnect all devices from the back of the tower unit including the mains power cable and make sure the rocker switch is turned off with the ‘0’ position pressed in.

2. Remove the two case screws from the back of the tower unit too and slide the side panel off.

Inside the PC there will be a loose hard disk power cable.

3. Pull out the power cable so it is full loose then plug it back into the correct port shown below, it will only fit one way and the port is located behind where the red/ink SATA cable is positioned.

4. Reconnect the side panel and case screws and plug the relevant cables into the back of the tower unit again, flip the rocker switch back to the on position ‘1’ and power the PC on as normal. The PC will now boo into Windows normally ready to be setup.
