The project aims to reach out to 14,000 women from Faridabad, Gurugram, Mahendragarh, Mewat and Rewari districts, and provide awareness about various entrepreneurship programs. HPPI is also providing three day trainings to approximately 700 women on starting-up new or improving their existing business. The 15-months project started in September 2016. In a short span of five months, HPPI has given Entrepreneurship awareness training to approximately 12,000 women and business start-up training to 250 women. HPPI is glad to share that out of 250 participants in start-up training, 50 women have already started small businesses and 100 are in process to start their own business. Most of the new businesses are grocery shops, beauty parlour cum cosmetic shops, ready-made garment shops and tailoring.
