The decisions we made yesterday have shaped our life today, and the decisions we make today, will determine our tomorrow. Every choice we make leads us somewhere. Our lives always reflect the choices we make.
The question you must ask yourself is this :
Q. What do I want tomorrow to be like? Or even today?
If it’s different from today’s reality, then your only choice is a choice to change.
Knowing your Life Purpose will be the very thing that underpins all the decisions you make and will guide you to where you want to go in life.
“Life coaching tends to focus in on two things: identifying and pursuing your life purpose, and refocusing your present life for greater energy, fulfilment, and productivity. In other words, creating a better future and a better life today.”
(Tony Stoltzfus, “Coaching Questions”)
It is so important to know our life purpose! It is like the compass that directs our life, and without it we wander through life, aimless, without good direction, and taking our chances, rather than planing how we will live every day on purpose, and knowing where we are headed.
It is like flying a plane without a flight plan, or going on a road trip without a map.
Knowing your life purpose, and pursuing it, gives meaning and significance to your life and everything you do, including every decision you make.
Coaching Question
Q. What are your thoughts on this statement?
Every decision you make is the life that you live.
If every decision you make is made with your life purpose in mind, then the life you end up living will be the life you most want to live, and the life you were born to live!
