Functional Components Focus free lens- focuses light on the film making pictures be able to be

developed Shutter-opens to let light in so pictures are clear Battery- provides energy for pictures to be taken Circuit board- flash of light Film cartridge- Where the images are captured and stored till developed Film gear- moves the film into cartridge after a picture is taken Central chassis- hold all the components together Springs-pull shutter and gears to make them work Viewfinder-magnifies and allows user to see the image their about to

capture Top button- the “start” button so everything inside can do its job to take

the picture Camera covers- holds all the insides together so the camera can

function

Materials Used Plastic – Casing for camera, labels,

gears, lenses, viewfinder, and film casing

Steel - Shutter open spring and the shutter wall

Cardboard - packaging Copper – shutter reset spring Alkaline Battery

Disassembly

1. Remove label, box, sticker, or whatever package the camera is wrapped in.

2. Undo the latches holding the camera together 3. Open the camera. 4. Remove the AA battery. 5. Remove circuit board and film cartridge 6. Remove viewfinder7. Remove gears8. Remove lens, springs, and shutter
