Vision

Everyday you or someone you care for might need help to see, hear, learn, speak up or get around. So, before anything else IDEAS will use respectful listening in our customer service to understand a persons needs and wants.

We provide information that assists people with disability make informed decisions about matters of importance to them.

How does IDEAS work connect with Local Government?

Universal Inclusion Training

A collaborative community directory style database which many Local Councils use online to house their community directory. IDEAS maintains 5,000 disability specialist records that support the mainstream community records maintained by Local Councils. In total the database gives online and potential hard copy access to over 45,000 records. A project piloted in 3 local government areas to support access to information about inclusive communities. This project is currently undergoing redevelopment for further roll out across NSW
