O When Kenya's water was low in their dams they could not produce energy to filter their water.

O People are putting waste and urban chemicals in the water.

O Global warming is another cause. There have been more droughts in Kenya so there water supply is even less.

EffectsO The lack of safe drinking water has

caused dehydration, starvation and diseases. Even fetching water is becoming harder to do, people walk as far as 10 miles to get to a polluted, dirty hand-dug well.
