TRHS EMPLOYEES GIVE BACKAs part of leadership training, TRHS managers divided into eight groups in November 2016 and participated in various community service projects. Activities included enhancements to community centers, playgrounds and schools as well as assisting shut-in residents, volunteering at a pet shelter and purchasing needed items for local denizens under financial constraints.

Each year, TRHS employees raise funds and participate in activities benefitting area organizations such as Ruth’s Cottage & The Patticake House, United Way of South Central Georgia, the Cancer Coalition of South Georgia, the TRMC Foundation, the Cook County Boys and Girls Club and more.

Taking Information Technology to the Next LevelTo enhance patient care and quality, we have to get the right information, to the right people, at the right time. Cerner Millennium and Infor Lawson are innovative information technology systems which will revolutionize how we share clinical and business data. TRHS will go live with these new systems in 2017.

In 2016, TRHS completed a multi-million dollar expansion of the Anita Stewart Oncology Center. TRHS will also be embarking on new capital expansion projects over the next few years. This includes a new musculoskeletal center at the TRMC West Campus, a new emergency center and patient tower at the TRMC main campus and a replacement facility for Cook Medical Center and Cook Senior Living.
