SMOKEWEAR SMOKE LAB, an eco-conscious brand under which SMOKEWEAR works with the best Indian talents to create forms and aesthetics that push the ideas of non-conformity, gender identity and fashion functionality whereas Folkpants, a brand from Manipur is a curated mix of second hand and vintage clothes. The idea to work together was to promote sustainability in a meaningful way.
Both the brands worked to rummage through some of the most stylish personal wardrobes to pull out the clothes as they once lovingly wore but no longer do; to give it another life so that they don’t end up in landfills, causing massive damage to our environment.

COCKTAIL OF THE MONTH PERENNIAL MARTINI
There is nothing stimulating than a martini. This one is an aromatic version with hints of bitter orange and Vetiver. GLASSWARE - Nick and Nora INGREDIENTS • 50 ml Smoke Vodka Aniseed • 10 ml Campari • 10 ml Vetiver syrup • 20 ml dry white wine METHOD In a mixing glass filled with ice, pour the above ingredients and stir for a long time. Strain into a chilled Nick and Nora glass and garnish with dried Vetiver root and serve.

NV’s Human Resource department always thinks and works towards to keeping the employees engaged and aligned to the business by arranging employee engagement activities at the Unit level. It plays an important role as we believe that employees are our assets and we value them.
At NVDBPL Rajpura the Basic knowledge of Fire & Practical demonstration was
organized, so that all the security at Unit will be alert, ready to handle the situations to keep the safety and security of the Plant and trained to do use Fire Extinguisher in a better way.

NV's leadership teams have always supported & developed positive culture, whereby everyone feels valued for the work they do and are recognized for the contribution they make in their area. Mr. Pappu Singh is currently working as a Turner based at Badholi, Haryana. His ability to diagnose fault in Boiler Feed water pump balancing chamber and repairs the machine in minimal time and prevent major breakdowns in a power plant. He has saved cost approx. Rs. 5 Lacs. We appreciate Pappu Singh contribution and wish him best of Luck.

Mr. Amarjeet Singh is currently working as a Fire & Safety Officer in Rajpura unit. The Ammonia gas leaked in CO2 plant as the sprinkler was not working. He immediately sprayed water to control its hazardous and fixed the leakage problem. We appreciate his hard work.
EMPLOYEES BIRTHDAY @ UNIT We believe in celebrating the important day of the people who are working as a family here in NV, so we took this initiative to celebrate the birthday of employees at end of the month at the Unit level as well. Another initiative taken by the Unit HR that on each employee’s birthday they will plant a tree in the factory premises, a good way to save the environment and keep the mother nature alive.
