What does an IB Course look like?

Rigorous, pre-collegiate Take exams at the end of the course

• Every IB student in the world in the world takes the same exam! Complete the internal assessment requirements

• Usually an essay, project, or presentation

• Real-world application of material Higher Level v. Standard Level courses

• Higher Level = more requirements and in-depth study

IB Programme Options

FULL DIPLOMA STUDENT• Take 6 IB Subjects • Two years of study in your Junior & Senior years

• Mixture of Higher Level/Standard Level courses

• Fulfill the 3 core requirements• Extended essay research paper

• 150 hours of creativity, action, and service over 2 years

• Take Theory of Knowledge

COURSE STUDENT• Enroll in one or more IB classes• Take exams and internal assessments
